A brush harshly combed through you hair and caught on every single tangle. Each tangle hurt the more you rushed the brush through your (H/C) hair. A wince left your mouth with each tangle your brush encountered. This was absolutely miserable.

Today was orientation day , a day you certainly did not want to miss nor be late to. Unfortunately for you, your body decided it wanted to wake up late today. Of all days it had to be today. How bothersome.

After finishing brushing your hair, you slipped your blue leggings on hastily. You grabbed the black skirt with a simple gold design from your bed and slid it up your legs and positioned it to where it needed to be. This monastery made it clear at all students were to wear these interesting uniforms. Although, you thought the uniforms were pointless but went with it anyway as you did not want to get kicked out for not following the rules. In order to complete the look, the top of your uniform was next.

Several knocks came upon your door. Your heart nearly jumped out of your chest. Who was here at this time? Everyone should have been at the orientation already.

"Give me second!" You called out.

You rushed buttoning your the top of your uniform which was black with large buttons and with golden designs. The moment you finished the tip of your shirt, you  ran toward the door. You had feeling Sylvain was on the other side of the door. You hastily answered the door fully expecting to see your brother, but someone else was there.

"Sylvain you scar- milord?" You gasped.

"Good morning Y/N!" Dimitri spoke with a soft smile.

"I- um what are you doing here?" You asked feeling a little confused.

"I wanted see if you wanted to come with me over to the orientation in about thirty minutes." He responded.

"It starts in thirty minutes?" You hastily ask.

"Yeah they pushed it back. Are you okay?" He asked slightly tilting his head.

Your body slowly relaxed as realized what he was saying. They pushed it back. It was wonderful news indeed, but you could not help but feel slightly frustrated. You got up frantically and received unneeded stress all for nothing. This situation was almost laughable.

"Yeah! I'm good. And about the offer, I'll would love to come with you." You responded.

"Excellent. I will come by to get you in about fifth teen minutes unless you are ready now." He said with a smile.

"I'll just need about five minutes." You quickly informed.

"Very well. I'll be waiting." The blonde-haired prince nodded.

You nodded and gently closed your door and released a sigh of relief. What an unexpected turn of events. Maybe this day would be in your favor.

Several knocks became upon your door again. About five minutes later to be exact. You excitedly opened to see his highness waiting right outside the door. He bore a calm expression with a gentle smile complimenting his handsome face.

"Hello Your Highness!" You smiled.

"Greetings Y/N. Shall we be off?" He said extending his hand.

You slowly nodded while taking his hand. Dimitri slowly pulled you towards him. The two of you walked toward the end of the hall and descended down a flight of stairs.

"It's been quite awhile since we seen each other." He spoke with the calm expression on his face.

"It certainly has. I mean we both have been very busy after all." You replied with a small smile.
