"So this is it?" I asked looking at the building before us. "Yep." The building before us was a jail house. "So,Kunikida should be in there?" Ranpo nods"yep." I look to him before letting out a stifled laugh"sorry it's just I can't get over the bear costume." I laugh as Ranpo sticks his tongue out at me. This was Ranpo's punishment from the Director,it seemed that when Tanizaki asked about a punishment at the party,Ranpo lied to surprise the poor boy with his punishment. Luckily I wasn't punished seeing as I didn't try and fight the Port Mafia. Ranpo's punishment was that he was forced to help a street vendor with their work,he ran away though and now we're here. Kunikida was also taken into police custody because he was accused of killing a child. "How do we get in?" I asked"we can't just walk through the front door. Is there like a back entrance?" Ranpo nods"there is,but as far as I know if that door is opened it'll trigger an alarm." I nod and place a hand on my chin"I could go in and knock them out." I suggest"you're actually using your ability for once! Look at you getting comfortable with it."

I stayed quiet as I silently began to walk towards the door. "I'll call you once everything is ready." Ranpo nods as I walk into the station. There was a small waiting room that held nobody which made me relieved. The only people here were the two receptionist at the check in table. I walked up to the ladies,one of them looked to me. "Hello,how may I help you?" I speak up"yea I was wondering if you could tell me where the restrooms were?" She nods and turns in her chair and points over to a door. "Take that door,it'll lead you to the restrooms." I let out a small 'thank you' as I head into that direction.

I open the door and let it shut behind me. Time to find the power room. I think to myself as I make my way down the hallway. The hallway was white and seemed like it had come straight out of an asylum,it was creepy and I didn't like it. It was like one you'd see in a horror movie. After looking around I had finally found it,I smirked to myself and looked around for one that said security cameras. After finding it,I ripped it out of the slot and the wires fell to the ground. I quickly got of the maintenance room and shut the door before running into the bathroom to hide. I had a feeling one of the ladies would notice the system was offline and would come to fix it. I silently listened to the footsteps outside the door,they finally came to a stop as a woman's voice was heard. She let out a groan"I swear the maintenance guy needs to stop pulling out these wires."

I opened the door as silently as possible and snuck up behind her using my ability to knock her out. Afterwards,I placed her in the bathroom and ran towards the front desk where the other lady was. "Excuse me?!" I said in a panicked tone,the lady looked to me. She was older than the one I knocked out. "Th-The lady who was here with you! S-She's been knocked out! I don't know what happen!" Her eyes widen as she stands up"I see." She picks up her phone and calls for two security guards,they arrive and I tell them where she is. The three of them leave.

Idiots. I think to myself as I unplug the monitor with the security footage on it. This'll buy me a few minutes,but I have to hurry! I pulled out my phone and quickly texted Ranpo to come in. I ran towards where the cells were to see two buff security guys. "Ma'am you can't be-"one starts"both desk ladies were just knocked out! I-I think they might be dead!" I say in a panicked tone"are you sure?" One asks"yes! I am! It must be an ability user!" The two looked to each other,almost like they didn't believe my words. "Hurry! You have to hurry!"

The two nodded and started to run off,I quickly knocked them out before they could get any further. The two of them fell to the floor like flies,I smirked to myself and walked over to them. "Don't trust everyone." I say as I bend down and pick up a thing of keys on a ring. "You b*tch..."one mutters weakly"you were the ones who fell for it." I reminded them as I stand up. I notice Ranpo waddling towards me in his bear suit. "Oh no,it'a Freddy Fazbear!" I joke as the boy puffs his cheeks out. "The FNAF games and lore are great. Don't go disrespecting Scott Cawthon like that." I shake my head"I'm not,I'm not." I say as I walk over to the door and insert different keys to find the right one.

Ranpo slid on the bear head as I pushed open the door and he waddled inside,me behind him. Prisoners asked us to get them out,though we only ignored them. Ranpo suddenly stopped in front of a cell,he placed his hands(or I guess paws) on the bars"listen,you're definitely getting out of here. Hey,are you listening Kunikida?" Ranpo asks the boy as he takes off the bear head. "It's fine Ranpo. It's only natural for a suspect to be detained." Ranpo let out a groan"of course you're a suspect. The charge was murder. The girl detonated the grenade herself,is what you claim. Without any eyewitnesses and with the enemy destroying all the evidence,it leaves you with no room to talk. Besides,the grenades just happen to match the ones at the agency. You've been set up by the 'rat'." He explains referring to Dostoyevsky.

"I-"

"'I feel guilty so I accept the charges',right? That's not my problem. I will get you out of here!" Ranpo says determined. "There must be someone who can easily destroy evidence who knows the 'rat'. We'll catch that guy! And while you're in here,just watch the dirt on your glasses." Ranpo concludes putting the head back on. Kunikida lifts his head"Ranpo,why're you going so far?" Ranpo turns on his heel"because if I had broken through Dostoyevsky's trap,then that girl wouldn't had died." He says walking off. "Don't worry Kunikida. You'll get out of here soon. Just a little bit longer." I say to him as I wave goodbye to him and follow Ranpo out of the building. "So,what's the plan to get him out?" I asked the boy"to find the one who destroyed the evidence." He simply says as we walk down the street.
