It had been almost a week since Audrey had gotten her little note, she had showed it to Lorra and Tara but all they could say was 'Awe that's so adorable'. Yeah they weren't much help.

Audrey had tried to narrow down all the potential note writers. She was pretty sure the short haired kid that sat in the back of her art class was gay; so he was out. The guy with the Mohawk, he was to busy sleeping to write anything;he was out. Then there was the long haired kid that sat in the front row, he was kinda geeky, like revenge of the nerds geeky; she was sure he couldn't have written that note. Now the tattooed guy in the back row he most likely didn't do it but she kinda hoped he did; he was damn sexy with all those tattoos.

This was not going to be easy, until that day none of the guys in Audrey's art class had really ever given her a second glance. Well except for Jacob. Ehh Jacob, even his name pissed her off now. Boys were so confusing, was it really that difficult to just tell someone you like them or that you don't like them? Audrey knew it couldn't be Jacob, he was the ignoring type not the love note type. She kinda wished her Quite Admirer had just left a name, it would be a lot cuter if she knew who liked her.

"Hey chick" Audrey didn't turn around, all the people she talked to knew her name. "Chick with the pink backpack!" Audrey's head raised slowly, she had a pink backpack. She turned around slowly, there was no one she recognized, maybe it was another girl with a pink backpack. As she turned back around she felt a hand on her shoulder. She jumped out of her skin and quickly turned to face who ever had touched her.

He looked at her wide eyed but had a soft smile on his face, his face looked sorta familiar but she couldn't quite place it. "Sorry I didn't mean to scare you" He laughed softly as he took the seat next to Audrey. He set his backpack on the table and then turned back to her, Audrey was still looking at him with a confused look. "I'm Brody, we have math together, I sit like two rows over."

Finally it clicked, she had seen him a few times. He was a smart kid, sat in the second seat from the front and always volunteered to answer questions. He kinda intimidated her, but she smiled sweetly and gave a acknowledging nod. He gave a bigger smile and then opened his bag, and pulled out his math book. Audrey raised an eye brow, did he come over here just to do math homework? He turned back to her and looked at the empty place in front of her, "Did you forget your book?" he asked slowly.

"We don't have math today" Audrey said really confused now.

"No we don't but you asked me to help you will this chapter, don't you remember?" He looked a little disappointed. Audrey didn't remember asking him anything, and she actually was understanding this chapter so why would she ask him for help.

"I don't remember asking you that" Audrey finally admitted. He smiled again as he pulled out his notebook and a pencil.

"You didn't actually ask me Tara and I have a class together. She said she was your friend, and you asked her to ask me if I'd help you with this chapter" he opened the book and set it in the middle of them, then he told her to get out her paper and a pencil.

Audrey was going to strangle Tara when she got home, but right now she figured, what the heck. Why turn down free math help? She pulled out her pen and paper and wrote as he explained. She realized quickly that she had not understood the chapter at all, and was happy for once that Tara had butted into her personal life.

"You are starting to get it, see you are not as brainless as you said you were" Brody laughed softly as he leaned over her shoulder to check her work. Audrey closed her eyes and breathed in his scent, he smelt like saw dust and the faded hint of Cologne. She opened her eyes and bit her lip as his arm softly brushed against hers. "Sorry" He smiled nervously.
