It was finally Wednesday night, Audry had tried to back out of the party at least 4 times while getting ready, but Tara and Lorra were not having it. She had told them about Jacob and they both agreed she needed to go get drunk and flirt with guys she didn't know.
Audrey really didn't want to flirt with anyone, she wanted to go to the gym and run out her frustrations. But as Tara grabbed her hand and pulled her down the stairs she realized she didn't really had an option.
"You are going to have fun, even if I have to pour alcohol down your throat" Tara said throwing Audrey her jacket. Audrey frowned as she tripped over her shoes trying to put on her jacket.
"Are the heels really necessary? I mean the drunker I get the less stable I will be, there will be no walking in them after like the third drink" Audrey said rocking back in forth in the uncomfortable heels Lorra have let her barrow, they were way to high for Audrey's comfort zone.
Tara turned around and looked me up and down "You look fucking sexy Audrey, you will be beating guys off with sticks as long as you loss that crap ass attitude." she pulled her hood on and grabbed her purse.
Sitting in the back seat was not exactly the position Audrey liked to be in, she hated when other people drove. She closed her eyes tightly as Tara made a sharp right hand turn and slid a little on the slush left from the mid day snow. When the car finally came to a complete stop Audrey opened the door and almost fell on her ass as she placed her feet on the icy asphalt.
"Oh God I'm to die" Audrey whispered as she tried to stable herself on the ice covered ground. Tara rolled her eyes and stepped out of the car. She pulled Audrey up out of the car and slammed the door shut.
"Confidence, that's how you walk in heels. Now lets go inside." she let go of her hand and started walking up to the door leaving Audrey by the car stumbling to walk a mere few inches to the hood of the car.
This night was not going to be as amazing as Audrey had anticipated, she stood up straight and started walking in the snow covered grass leading to the front door. At least it wasn't covered in slippery ice. When she finally got to the door she handed her flyer to the big bouncer looking guy, he gave her that typical bouncer look and nodded for her to go inside.
"Well thank you so much for the gracious means on entry" Audrey said with a smile as she walked past him, he hinted a small smirk in the corner of his mouth but as soon as it appeared it was gone. "I'll take that as a your welcome" she whispered as she walked into the house.
Tough crowd she thought as she walked past a group of a few people she recognized from school. She smiled as a greeting when they turned and looked at her, she didn't know any of there names they had just been people she had passed in the halls almost everyday. They were what she liked to refer to as a hallship, it wasn't a friendship but she seemed to like the normalcy of seeing them walking in the halls along with her.
She walked past them and on to the kitchen, she was looking for Tara or Lorra but who she found was an already buzzed Rebecca.
"OMG AUDREY YOU MADE IT!" Rebecca slurred her words as she stumbled toward Audrey, there was a guy helping her along the way Audrey thought it might be her boyfriend. God did every one have a fucking boyfriend.
"Of course I did, I told you I was coming" Audrey said with a soft laugh, "And as I see you started the party already." Rebecca started laughing loudly and almost fell over but lucky for her the guy she was with caught her waist and held her up right.
