David POV

I think Max noticed that I took antidepressants, Shit, I was planning on keeping this to Myself and Gwen for as long as possible but he found out, should I talk to him about it? Well when I do it has to be before I take them one day, well no, as of right now they haven't even kicked in I'm just faking it like a fucking liar, no I have to do it before wait a couple seconds then act like douche-vid. My childhood was similar to Max's, but I never made it out, and my parents did it my entire life.

Not long after I made it to camp my parents abandoned me, then Cameron sexually abused me from 8 years old until, well he never stopped, he still tries to, although at age 9 he gave me, Prozac, the ✨wonder drug✨, he can't fuck someone too sad or it will rub off on him.. yea he can't fuck a child that was too sad or he will feel bad. What an asshole

"David, you good?" Gwen asked when I walked into our room

"I think Max saw I was taking antidepressants," I said

"And, He was going to find out either way, when one day your ready to go attitude randomly runs out one night"

"But I wanted to keep this from him as long as possible,"

"David, honey, he is a smart kid, he was going to know either way, you just made him find out faster, he still loves you and he is going to keep loving you"

I sighed, shes right so I smiled a bit leaning foward to kiss the tip of her nose, "Thanks Gwen" and left to tell the kids I was going to finalize the adoption

✨Timeskip✨ Saturday, noon

Gwen and I sat in our cabin watching TV, I sat on the right side of the couch and Gwen was leaning on top of me while reading Vampires in Love, not my favorite book but she likes it so that's what matters,

"Gwen?"

"Yea,"

"What's your opinion on having kids?"

"We have Max so I would love to, Why?"

"I was just thinking.."

"Wait, do you want to have a second child?"

"Kind of.." I stopped "But you can say no I am not forcing you to" I rushed out

She laughed, kissing me so I would stop talking, I melted into the kiss but she pulled away, now sitting up completely, "that was really cute baby, I would love to have a biological child with you, when are you thinking about doing it?"

I just kind of glanced at her and she soon got the hint, "OH, Oh ,oh, right now," she stood up, pulling me with her, draping her arms around my neck kissing me more, before dragging me off to our room

With Max

Max POV

"Ok listen up you fucks, what should we do today?"

"Want to go to your cabin and hang out?" Nikki asked

"I'd say yes but they kicked me out earlier, said they needed some adult time whatever the hell that meant"

Neil spit out his drink "Sorry?! Yea- ok then what else should we do?"

"Hey, what if we steal some more hotspots from the Flower Scouts?" Nikki said, "we could fire up your computer and"

"Look at boobs" I bluterd out over her saying, "play games"

"I am not letting you use my computer to look at tits Max, but we can go steal hot spots"

✨One adventure later✨

"So it's, what? 5 o'clock now?"

"Yea, let's go see if it's time for dinner"

Then we heard a bell

"Well, it's dinner time" I said leading the two to the mess hall

A couple weeks of precious family bonding and camp adventures ( yes Max goes back to his cynically asshole self but they have some soft moments)

Gwen POV

Its Thursday July 12, 15 days after we adopted Max, and I couldn't be happier.

I sit on the sink watching, waiting for the results off of a test, this is the third test I have taken today and not once have I looked at the results. Once I see the test I took had gotten a result I turned the other 2 around,

Positive, Positive, Positive

I am Pregnant

I quickly slipped the other 2 tests into my back pocket and rushed to find David, it's 8:46 in the morning so he's out explaining what the kids are doing today

David POV

"OK Kiddos!" I yelled in my usual tone, "Today we are going to have a Talent Show!" I smile as I hear a chorus of groans from the kids

"David!" I hear my wife yell as she charges towards me with a white twig in her hand. Where did she find Birch were in Missouri? I wonder as she tackles me to the ground

"Oh, hi Gwen!💕" I say smiling, "what's in your hand?" As she kisses me sitting on my lap

"Ooooooo!" I hear from the kids

"Eww," I hear from Max

As we part from the kiss I feel her shove the stick into my hand, when I look at it I see what it is

"YOURE PREGNANT?! I- are you sure?"

She laughs her sweet laugh that I remember falling in love with when we met, as I see her pull another 2 tests out of her pocket, "I'm sure"

"Max-" I hear Nikki whisper yell, "you're going to be a big brother!"

"I know," I hear as I glance towards him to see him slightly smiling, "I can't wait."
