Ch.9 : A whole new world

I can't believe I am finally here. I glance and look around at the wonderful scenery. A scenery full of nature. I see green and a beautiful sky above me. It was hazy yet filled with vivid colors. I put my attention away from the clouds and suddenly heard sounds. They were like voices. Human voices.

"Hey Har," Mags says snapping me out of my gaze.

We are walking. I guess I did not get the chance to know my body was even moving. I was allured. Not by any strange thing I did not know. But by something I was used to. The skies and the forest. They were somehow better than back at home. I really do not know how to feel..

Confused or Amazed?

I decided to just follow my conscience and see where I am headed.

Mags is leading us towards 'who knows where'? What does she feel?

Oh right. She has been here before. I forgot. Has she forgotten about her sister? What would make her think of visiting a place , rather than her sister? Right now , I am confused.

We continue our journey. As we walk, I glance to my sides and hear unusual voices passing by me. They simply fade away. I decide to ignore them and think it is just in my head. I probably have too much on my mind. I then feel subtle rumbles from the ground. My eyes glance at the rumbling and see the trees moving. They are like tree giants. They start moving.. and walking.. just like how we humans do..

The tree giants just pass by us without a care.

"Whoah!" I hear Leo say in awe.

I cannot believe this is happening.

I follow Mags's and Leo's pace leading to a simple tree.

"Alright. We're here," Mags says holding her hand out pointing to.. a tree?

Leo and I give each other an 'are you serious?" look then glance back at Mags.

It was just a simple looking tree with dark brown bark and leaves of evergreen. But with this tree, it felt different. I mean, we are in a forest in a new dimension. A new world. Yet it still looks the same. Yet feels so different. Out of all the trees, this is the most simplest.. yet eye catching tree. I don't really think I am making sense. Right? .. Right.

"You'll see..," Mags says as she rolls her eyes with a slight chuckle.

She reaches her charm out with the length of the necklace chain. She made the charm touch the bark. Suddenly , a passageway opened.. Into the tree?

"What are you up to Mags?" Leo asks with disbelief.

I raise one eyebrow. " Seriously Mags. What is goi-"

I was cut off by her as she grabbed us both with her going through the passageway. It was like another portal.. another slide.. The same exact feeling I felt passing through a new dimension. It amazed me, and again with Leo screaming.

The ride finally ended, as we stopped on the ground in front of a staff being held by someone.

Or something..

Maggie then stood up.

I decided to take a glance to see where she was headed.

She was in front of the staff holding.. creature? They were communicating.. speaking.. They were in front of a crystal door.

He.. or . it... was sort of her height. I wanted to get a closer look but I do not want to interrupt. Especially with a creature.

I decide to just sit down indian style. Not too near Mags and the staff holding dude.
