Secret Charm

Surprises: (Ch.6)

- It is only 3am, and I have not been able to sleep since the 'magical substance' has been creating some colors and ruckus since 2 hours ago.

It's strange?
What is going on?

Many questions go through my head wondering what is up with the substance. This has never happened before. Many colors start filling my room. They remind me of when me and Mags first found it.

I decide to get up from my bed and grab the opened pouch filled with the shiny crystal debris. Suprisingly, the shiny silver goo disappered. or dissolved? disintegrated? I decide to dig in the pouch to check. But instead I felt something else. It was harder and seemed more of an item. It was not dissolved . It was not a liquid. It was a solid.

I took it out and found a chain attached to a sort of jewel. Looking more like a charm. It was a clear shiny color. But it started changing colors as well mixing in with the colors of the crystals flowing on the walls and floor. It was so vibrant, and amazing.

The charm looked so beautiful. But the question is, how did it get in here? It was not in here before. No one could have put it in here because the pouch has been kept in a small box for like, ever.

The chain was long so I wore it on my neck as a necklace. It fit in well with the charm as the jewel. I wonder If Mags found a charm as well in her pouch. Or maybe something else?

After I had attached it on my neck, I noticed the crystal embedded jewel seemed also like a button. So I decided to press it. The lights stopped and instead combined into a bright white light.

My eyes squinted staring into the lights forming a sort of whirlpool on the wall.

I was allured by the scenery. I could not focus on anything besides the gazing whirlpool. It seemed more like a doorway to another place. More like a portal.

I want to go in but I do not want to at the same time because who knows what will happen?

I feel myself taking one step at a time toward the alluring wall.
I get closer and closer. My arm reaches towards it as I step closer and closer. I take my final step and I am already there.

Before my hand can reach it, I am interrupted by a soft knock on my door. Everything dies down and the portal closes.

I wake up from my daydreaming alluring mind and run towards the door while hiding the necklace in my shirt.

"Who is it?" I ask I turn the knob with the door revealing a boy.
I grin and jump up and hug him as I find out who he is. He hugs me back.

"Leooooo!!!" I say with my chin on his shoulder. I think he heard that through his ears.

He covers his ears.

"Sorry" I frown releasing from the hug.

"It's alright.Hey you look great!" he says with a smile.

"Thanks. But you look great too! " I reply.

He still kind of looked the same. Short cut brown hair only up to his neck. His greyish brown eyes enough to catch many girls. No wonder why Mags used to always hang with him.

"Wait. Why are you here so early?" I ask him with one eyebrow raised.

"Surprise?" He says with an unsure grin.

I smile and go out my door leading to the living room. I did not want him to see anything strange. Yea he is my best friend. But I am scared what he might think and then maybe something crazy might happen again.

We sit down on the couch and start catching up with each others' lives.

"So how ya been," I ask.
He usually kept talking about Mags and how he still likes her.
I grin at that fact.
