Ch.13: Regrets and Learning

"Hold on let me get this straight. You want us to defeat "the fallen" and put your lives in our hands??" Leo blurts interrupting Zorg.

We were in Crystixity discussing "the fallen". I agree with Leo. He must seem scared. We all are. But In my opinion, we should just go with it. I mean, we were given these abilities for a reason right? I definitely would not want to have powers without being able to use them.

"Yes. That is exactly what I plan to do Leo. We of course will help you. But whatever happens it is up to each and everyone of us," Zorg replied eyeing us.He then gave a sigh looking down.

"If- if you don't wish to do this. You don't have to . We are pretty much used to this, but--" He looked up towards us. "But I believe that you children are very special. You have wonderful gifts. and those gifts represent each and every one of you."

Then again, here's Zorg with his miraculous words. Are we really that special? I mean I was just a simple young girl who had her memory erased by a magical dude who is in front of me right now. Maybe we aren't special. But maybe instead, we are just lucky.

Zorg then continued looking at us waiting for one of us to reply, but we just gave him a look of astonishment.

Mags then took a step forward standing next to Zorg.
"I don't know about you guys, but I plan to stick with Zorg. He protected me- all of us. Without him... I wouldn't be able to experience crazy yet newer things."

"Well you won't experience any of those things without me," I said walking next to Mags who hugged me with great delight.

There was only Susie, Naya, and Leo left to make their decisions.

I could see Mags pouting and giving Susie puppy eyes. I tried hard not to giggle at how cute Mags looked.

Susie then scoffed and rolled her eyes walking towards us pulling Naya in with her.
"Ugh. Fine but only because our lives are at stake," Susie replied as she crossed her arms standing next to us.

Naya then smiled throwing me a wink.
I then giggled. I could tell she wanted to do this.

Now.. Just Leo..

"Leo?" Mags asked with concern in her eyes.

He just looked sad. He finally gave in after Mags started poking him and begging for him to join.
"Alright, alright, but we seriously need to be ready," Leo replied joining us.

We were all now with Zorg and there were no changes.

"Are you sure about this?" Zorg asks.

We stared at each other for a while before looking back at Zorg .
We all gave our nods and agreed.

Zorg then smiled. "Thank you,"

"No problem," Naya replied with a huge smile.

"Ok guys, time to read," Mags said as she went through the exit portal.

Zorg then disappered with his staff as we decided to follow Mags out of the headquarters. After going through the exit, we were in front of the trees that could teleport us to our necessities. They surrounded us.

Mags was in front of a tree waiting for us. "You coming?" she says from a distance.

We nod. I run up to the tree to see symbols reading : łìbæř . I began to open my mind and understood that it meant : library.

We stepped in through the portal leading us to giant bookstands all around.

In the middle, was a giant pedestal with a big book laying on top.
