The ride back to the palace was silent, but I didn't expect for us to be chatting. Although Sebastian was calm now, he was still mad at me for running off. Call me foolish, but if given the opportunity I'd run off again. A small smile appeared on my lips, Sebastian would kill me for sure.
"Adalyn..." Sebastian broke the silence. "I left school before first period started. My dad needed me to attend a meeting in London. If I knew what was awaiting for you, believe me, I would've stayed,"
"Is that why you are dressed up?" I asked curiously. He nodded. "Sorry, I ruined your meeting,"
"Yeah, luckily, I was able to reschedule it for tomorrow morning." Sebastian said, brushing his hair with his fingers. "With the scare you gave Sophia today, I gave her the weekend off, so you'll be coming with me to London,"
I snapped my head to the side, "no I am not,"
"It wasn't a question. Take it as your punishment for running off. You made it clear you can't be left alone,"
"Why can't I stay with your parents?" I questioned him. What was I suppose to do while he is in the meeting? I was better off staying with is parents in the palace. There were more eyes to look after me.
"They are out of city. My dad needed a few days off. Reason why I am on Prince duties. I can't leave you alone, I am sorry,"
"I don't want to be seen with or around you!" I began to raise my voice.
"Believe me, the feeling is mutual," He shot back.
Asshole. Sebastian pulled into the private area of the airport where a guard was waiting for Sebastian with a carry on bag. Sebastian placed the car on park and got off. I didn't have a choice—not like I ever do, but this one was pointless on arguing.
Sebastian grabbed the carry on bag from the guard and turned to look at me. I had pushed Sebastian buttons today, but I was as exhausted and stress as he was. So, why do I feel guilty for feelings this way? Sebastian motioned for me to get off of the car and began to walk towards the private jet. I grabbed my purse and followed behind.
"The maids packed a bag for you," Sebastian commented as we went up the stairs.
"How did you know you were going to find me?" I raised a brow curiously. Did he expect to find me? Or did the Royal Family have to-go trip bags ready for any occasion?
"I didn't," Sebastian looked over at me. "but when you called, I called the maid to pack a bag for you,"
"So, I wasn't going to have a choice in this?"
"No," He simply said.
Upon entering the jet, I was stunned by how elegant it looked from the inside. I was expecting a smaller version of an airplane but this was fancy. On the far left there were two leather seats with a wooden table in the front. On the right, there was a couch with a pillow and a blanket laid out.
Sebastian looked over at me, "if you are tired you can lay down after the plane takes off. It's almost a three hour flight to London,"
I nodded. We took our seats and buckled up, while the flight attendant and pilot got ready for take off. I pulled out my phone and opened up the messages from Sophia,
9:39 p.m. Sophia Zavala: Adalyn, please tell me you are safe.
I responded to her text message: Sophia, I am sorry about tonight. I didn't mean to put you under a lot of stress. Please forgive me.
"She is fine, Adalyn," Sebastian broke me out of my thoughts. I looked at him confused. "Sophia...she is okay."
"How mad is she?" I asked him.
