It was a clear night and New York City was alive. You looked out the window of a vacant apartment. This was your target's home. Or so you thought. You picked up a photo and looked at it. Suddenly, you heard a muffled sound of keys in the door.

You opened the window in case you needed a quick escape. You hid behind a wall, waiting to see your target. Instead, a tall young man walked in. He was dressed very formally and carried a small briefcase. You sighed quietly to yourself, knowing this was the wrong apartment. You jumped out the window onto a set of stairs outside. You made it to the sidewalk and kept walking. You pulled out your phone to make a call.

"Sir, you got the wrong apartment." He was quiet for a moment. "Alright, I'll send you coordinates to a bar he was last seen at. Maybe you'll find something there." "Yes sir." The other end of the line went quiet.

He had hung up. You then got the coordinates and headed towards the bar.

You walked into the bar. There was music and a stage and someone was singing. People were dancing on the dance floor while others drank near the bar and in booths. You walked up to the bartender. "Do you happen to know if a man by the name Baron Zemo stopped by here today?" The bartender looked at you confused for a second. You pulled out a picture of him.

"Oh yeah, I know that guy. He comes here once a week but doesn't stay very long..." "Sir, Do you happen to know what time he was here today?" He thought, putting a finger on his chin. "He was here about an hour ago." "Ok, thank you." The man nodded and you walked away.

You saw a piano near the stage. You hadn't remembered the last time you played, but you knew how to. There was a song stuck in your head so you went over to the piano. The music stopped as more people had their attention on you.

You started playing. (You were playing "I Hear a Symphony'' by Cody Fry) You began to sing, "I used to hear a simple song." All talking stopped at this point. "That was until you came along." "Now in its place is something new." You breathed in.

"I hear it when I look at you." You kept playing and forgot you were on a mission.

Bucky POV

I was pushing through the crowd when I heard a voice and the sound of a piano playing. There was something in that voice... that I recognized... but I couldn't figure out where it was from. I couldn't see her face. I wish I could. But I was on a mission and couldn't get distracted.

Y/n POV

You finished singing and played the last note. You heard clapping, whoops, and hollers from people behind you. You got embarrassed and got up from the piano and walked away.

You called your boss again. "Sir, I'm gonna need video footage from today outside of (street name)." you waited for an answer. "Ok, i'll get that for you but you're gonna have to call my secretary instead." "Ok thank you sir, I will." you hung up.

You got the footage a couple of minutes later and sat on a bench on the sidewalk. In the video, you could see Zemo walking to a black car. The black car drove southbound. You watched the second video and it showed the car driving out of town.

That was all the footage you got. You didn't want to take a taxi but then you would be walking all night. You called your boss's secretary. "Hey, I need a ride somewhere, could you take me?" "Yes, of course." you sort of smiled to yourself.

You weren't often treated with this much kindness. "Ok, I'm at *******," you hung up and waited for your ride. It didn't take long before a black Bugatti pulled up in front of you. You got in.

You were greeted by a very nicely dressed lady with beautiful ginger hair and deep blue eyes. "Oh hi, I don't think we've met in person before." she smiled at you. "I'm Lillian. It's nice to meet you y/n." you shook hands. "Alright. Where to?" You thought for a moment. "I'm not sure of the exact location, but I have an idea on where I need to go." "Alright, just tell me where to drive."
