You sighed. "Can you not stop bothering us?" "For the record, You were the one who was trying to kill me." He said. "What do you want, Zemo?" you said, annoyed. "Why is it that you two are not hunting me anymore?" "Do you think it's fun being hunted? Because I'm about ready to shoot you on the spot." you said, still annoyed.

"Easy, tiger. Let's do this calmly." "Calmly? Are you kidding?" Bucky stayed clear of this conversation after you said that. "I just need to know why." "Go fuck yourself, Zemo." you started walking towards the car. Bucky followed you. "Y/n-" "There's a reason why I shut you out of my life, Zemo! Stay the hell away from me!"

You opened the car door. "Y/n, please." You got in the car. "It's complicated, Zemo." Bucky had stepped in. "The only thing you need to know is that y/n doesn't do that stuff anymore. And neither do I." Bucky opened the driver's side door. "Goodbye, Zemo." He got in and closed the door. Bucky turned on the car and drove away. Zemo was left alone in the parking lot with a frown on his face.

"You could've been nicer." Bucky said, looking at the road. "Really? To the man that used us, Bucky? Are you on his side now?" "No, y/n. Why are you so angry all of a sudden?" "The sight of that man makes me angry!" "You shouldn't let that ruin your day." Bucky looked at you with soft eyes then put them back on the road. The car was quiet. You sat there and thought about how kindly Bucky had treated you since day 1. You had a flashback.

40's music was playing on a jukebox in the diner you were in. You and Peggy were sitting at a booth. "If you were to go out with somebody, who would it be?" Peggy asked you. "Anybody?" "Anybody." she smiled at you. You thought for a moment then smiled. "Bucky's pretty cute." "Bucky? Really?" she laughed a little. "Okay, who would you choose?" "Oooh." Peggy put her finger on her chin in thought. "Steve. I would love to go out with him." You laughed. "And you said Bucky was bad." She frowned jokingly at you. Just then Steve, Bucky, and the Howling Commandos walked in.

"Cheers to another successful mission!" Bucky raised a beer glass up and so did Steve and their team. "Cheers!" glasses clinked and everyone in that group chugged their beers. You shook your head at Peggy and she laughed. Bucky was talking with the other men, then looked over and saw you and Peggy at your booth. "Hello ladies." He smiled, then bent down and leaned his arm on the table. He winked at you and your cheeks turned red while Peggy laughed with her hand over her mouth.

You snapped back to reality. You looked at Bucky's face and took it all in. Bucky either didn't notice or didn't care because he was still focused on the road. You looked forward again and smiled. "Bucky?" "Yeah?" "You were such a ladies' man." "Steve used to tell me that." "Steve wasn't wrong." You smirked.

Bucky pulled into the parking lot of his apartment. You and him went into his apartment room. You sat down on the couch. "You want to watch a movie, y/n?" "Sure." Bucky turned on the TV and put it in a disk. "What movie is it?" you asked. "It's a surprise." he smiled.
