Ch. 25 Different Kind Of Battlefield...

Leone POV

Leone: "Chelsea? Sorry, but do we know you?"

Chelsea: "Huh? Oh no you don't but uh.....Apparently the revolutionary army sent us as "support" for Night Raid."

Leone: "Wait.....Us?"

      A tall man then appeared behind Chelsea, he had blue hair and horns as well as this nice white outfit he had on.

Chelsea: "This is Susanoo. Brought along with me as a request by your boss. He doesn't really talk much....If at all when he was with me."

      He just stood there making very little eye contact with us. (M/n) just leaned his head closer to whisper in my ear saying,

(M/n): "Are they really here for Night Raid?"

Leone: "I would say yes but maybe keep your guard up if something changes."

      (M/n) nodded lightly but clearly Susanoo heard us as he was staring a hole through both of us.

Leone: "Sorry.......We just are taking precaution is all."

Susanoo: "........."

      Susanoo looked away from us and only looked up at the trees while Chelsea just walked closer to us, extending her hands out to help us off the ground, I shrug a bit before I grab her hand and she pulls (M/n) up even while he wore the Incursio armor which must've added some weight to his person proving she had a bit of muscle on her, either that or the Incursio armor doesn't weigh a thing.

(M/n): "Thank you."

Chelsea: "Don't mention it!"

She gave him a sweet smile causing him to smile back which had me a bit miffed, but I just scratched my head while turning away from them.

(M/n): "You alright Leone?"

Leone: "Huh? Oh yeah! Just looking around is all."

(M/n): "Ok...Just making sure......Say.....You are Susanoo? What do you do exactly?"

Susanoo: "............"

(M/n): "Nice meeting ya again."

Chelsea: "Anyways, now that we found you guys, it's time we try and find somewhere else to be, preferably a camp."

Leone: "Wha-Hang on hang on hang on....How are we going to have camp out here???? In case you haven't seen it already me and (M/n) fell through the trees an-."

      Chelsea then brought us over to a little camp she had set up, that being three tents and a campfire that wasn't lit yet but was ready to.

Chelsea: "You were saying?"

Leone: "What I meant to say is, why would we try and camp out here? Isn't there a chance that they could catch us?????"

Chelsea: "That's where you are wrong.....Since you probably don't know...But your boss wants us apart of Night Raid....And you know what that means~?"

(M/n): "You guys have imperial arms....."

Chelsea: "That's right hotshot!"

I made a grr sound while Chelsea did a light shrug before bringing us closer to her little campsite. There were three tents specifically, why three? Well, Chelsea said that Susanoo likes to sleep on his own, and she didn't have enough for four, so she suggested that me and her should stay in a tent while (M/n) got one to himself, I chuckle while nudging his shoulder.

Leone: "Guess you're a bit upset that you got the shaft on this one Eh?"

(M/n): "What??!?! What makes you say that????"

Leone: "Come on, some of us know you're a bit of a perv~."

(M/n): "....."

Leone: "You're denying it.....Meaning that you're admitting it. It's ok....It's cute...."

      I pat him on the head before taking a seat in front of the fire. Chelsea then sat two seats away on my right as (M/n) sits next to her on her left. I just look at the non lit fire just as it was getting close to sundown. Susanoo didn't say another word before heading out into the forest to get some wood.

Chelsea: "He does that.....A lot......Too much to be honest......"

      After she said this, Chelsea didn't say anything else to either of us......It was getting a bit awkward between the three of us. Finally, I broke up the silence,

Leone: "Yeah.....Those Jaeger fellas attacked our base.....We even fought two of them before being put in this."

Chelsea: "So that's how you fell through the trees..."

Leone: "It hurt....But.....At least....(M/n) was there to back me up.....Thank you by the way....."

He was shocked at first that I addressed how he wanted to help me, but later smiled at me, while I felt my face turn a little shade of red, I grab a little lock of my hair and clutch deeply onto it, while not making eye contact with either (M/n) nor with Chelsea. Speaking of Chelsea, she then explained a bit of a rundown of what happened to her. How she got a call in to come here, how she wasn't really given preparation, to then just coming out here with Susanoo, completely unaware of the actual shit we just went through.
However, Chelsea was cut off by Susanoo showing up and placing some more wood into the fire as well as some fish to eat.

Chelsea: "Well, I will say that that was both good and bad timing on your part Susanoo."

Again, he said nothing. It took a little elbow grease to get it started but it worked out in the end, as we then came to realize that Susanoo was one hell of a cook, almost on par with Akame. After that relaxing dinner, I was about to hit the hey, before I spotted out of the corner of my eye. (M/n) was talking with Chelsea.

(M/n) POV

Chelsea: "So.....Only one of you has died thus far..."

(M/n): "Bulat.........He gave me this....."

Chelsea: "I apologize for that....."

(M/n): "You didn't do it..."

Chelsea: "I know....I'll still say it anyway."

(M/n): "Do you.....Need something from me?"

Chelsea: "No......."

      At first, I almost thought that Chelsea would cry. The way she looked down at the floor looked rather saddening. I got that flashback.....Sayo.

My main instinct was to pull her in for a hug, but she got a different idea, she delicately kissed my cheek which caught me off guard, but I just chuckled a bit as she walked away. I gave myself a little first bump before being yanked into my tent, I almost screamed but my mouth was covered by Leone......Kissing me???????

Leone: "Don't think I'm out of the game just yet!"
