Ch. 28 Sayo's Clash On The Run!

Sayo POV

"GET HER!!!"

Shit! I don't have a weapon on me! I probably should have thought about this earlier. Though, now, I'm mainly thinking of how to avoid the doctor with that disturbing grin on his face. How did he know to chase after me?????
      With no weapons, on me or on the horse, the only thing I could do was take out my imperial arms. My initial thought was to predict the moves of the Doctor and his allies.
      Too many to count, and to keep track of, I primarily focused on the Doctor, who caught on to my imperial arms.

"She has an imperial arm!!!!!!"

"Shit!"

      I make the horse go as fast as it can, hooves clashing with the dirt like two swords in a battle. The doctor's thoughts were all over the place however, the thing to come up the most was Esdeath.

'Esdeath will be so pleased when I bring the girl back...'

I am not letting that happen!!

(M/n) POV

      We need to regroup.......Otherwise....We're never gonna win this.........Seeing the bright view outside this window....Just makes me think can I do this, though the thoughts stop once a voice speaks up behind me,

"You ok (M/n)?"

"I'm fine Akame........Just really thinking about....."

"About what?"

"Everything........It's hitting me like a bunch of horses running me over......"

"It has been.....Overwhelming these past few days...Sheele and Lubbock are still recovering as we speak....."

"Mm.......Could I tell you something?"

"Sure.....What is it (M/n)????"

"Do you think we can take down the Minister?"

"What???"

"Do you think we can take him down????? Even though we have several members....I'm just worried."

Waiting for Akame's response, my first instinct was to turn around.......Upon facing her, I see her.....Eyes staring down at the floor not saying or looking at me.

"Akame?"

As another word was about to escape my lips, I was greeted by Akame's warm embrace. A hug.......I didn't expect her to give me such....But I could hear her somber, soft, heartbeat. She whispers into my ear,

"No matter what.....We will win this....Together....."

Staring out with a smile, I hold onto the hug, even as Leone is leaning against the door.

"Looks like you two are getting along fine...."

Cheeks turning red, brain getting the wrong idea....If Mine were here....I'd fall over from my heated face and Mine would call me a pervert.

"So.......What do you think of doing next????"

"I don't know Leone.....I don't know....."

Sayo POV

My horse started moving faster than the doctor and his allies. Though only briefly was I ahead of them. I regret not keeping my eyes on them as I was trying to get the horse gallop faster clicking and clacking against the light dirt and rock.

"GET HER OFF THAT HORSE!!!!!!!!"

Before I could turn back, my horse had lost its footing and starts to tumble to the right.
