Ch. 41 (M/n) and Akame vs Kurome

Akame POV

"Sis.........You do know how this will end right?" Kurome produces a wide grin, one that showed off her wicked side.

"I know, but I still hurts me to see you like this." I unsheathe Murasame and ready myself. I speak to (M/n), knowing what he wanted to do.

"Don't interfere (M/n)."

"Agreed. This is between us......But rest assured, when sis is done, you're next." Kurome pointed her sword at (M/n), causing (M/n) to grit his teeth yet he still equipped Incursio.

"(M/n).....I said to-." I was cut off by (M/n) as he went after Natala and Doya. Making my fight between me and Kurome more even.

"No fair! You always take the fun out of everything!" Kurome pouts a bit upon seeing my friend attack her puppets with ease. She drops the pout when she turns to face me.

"Are you ready?"

"Always...." The two of us shout as loud as we could before charging at one another, clashing blades, sparks flying off them. Kurome's eyes were filled with so much rage and emotion, her gritting teeth, her skin that started to turn red.

"I hate you sis......."

"I'm sorry......." We clash again, this time I put a bit more energy into it.

(M/n) POV

"Damn!" Dodging a shot to my left ear, I punch Natala in the gut, he leans down, allowing me to pick him up by the waist as I slam him onto the ground. I turn my attention to Doya, her shots while inaccurate for the most part were still getting on my nerves. Once I got close to her, I tackled her to the floor, using my body to get around her waist, once I pushed into her, I wrapped my hands around her, then using my force to take her down. The guns fell out of her hands. I took the both of them, I held them by the triggers as I stood back on my feet.

"How many bullets you got?"

My curiosity peaked as I aimed the guns at Doya. I pulled the triggers with both of them as the shots went off. The two shots go through her face, one through her left cheek and the other through her right eye.

"Holy shit." My eyes were opened wide, which could be seen even through my armor. I turned around to shoot Natala who was back on his feet. I aimed for his head, I missed the shot from the gun in my right hand but hit him in the throat from the gun in my left.

"Yeah that works." I equip my spear once again, then proceeded to use my boot to crush Doya's head. Making sure she's stayed down, at least for now. Then I ran over to Natala and cut him in half.

"Guess that's it....." Unaware of the presence behind me, I felt it leap onto my back, though I was startled, I was not hurt or even threatened, I tossed it off my back, revealing a headless Doya.

"Huh.....Neat...." I use my spear to chop off Doya's arms and legs before ultimately giving the shuffling torso one big punch to crush the chest. Basically ending both of the puppets for now.

Akame POV

      As we fought, Kurome had backed away for a few seconds, looking out into the open night, I did not drop my guard once in front of her, keeping a close eye in case she tried to stab me in the back.

"Seems like my last two puppets are dead...." She chuckled, cackling even at this, then she started coughing, horribly. Blood spat out of her mouth upon her last violent cough.

"You don't have much time Kurome.....L-."

"Shut up!" Her eyes were covered by her bangs, but she was furious, wanting to not hear anything else out of me. "I'm getting realllll tired of hearing your voice......How about I silence you?"

"Then do it..." Kurome was about to strike me again, however, a loud shout stopped us both in place,

"Kurome!!!!!!"

"(M/n)????!?!?" He had appeared as soon as I had said his name, landing directly in front of me, Incursio, spear and all.

"Sorry for the delay....I took care of your puppets....."

"You did?" I thought she would be more angry at this, but instead, was laughing again, this time as loud as she could go, her right hand over her face,  her right eye between her middle and ring finger. (M/n) had to respond, getting confused by Kurome's chaotic behavior.

"What's so funny?"

"The fact that I could kill you......And see what kind of prized possession you really are....Both of you are to me.....!" (M/n) clenched his right hand into a fist, while clutching harder onto his spear. He makes an irrational decision but not before saying,

"Not on your life Kurome!!!"

      I had wanted to prevent (M/n) from harming Kurome but was stopped by a man in blue armor, they were both sent flying out beside us.

"The hell????"

"I cannot let you interfere! I'm gonna take you down before anyone else can get hurt!"

(M/n) POV

Dusting off some of the dirt from my front chest plate, I get very frustrated when I see Wave again, wearing Grand Chariot.

"Get out of my way Wave. I don't want to deal with this bullshit." I went to leave him behind but he pushed me. I was going to push him back, but I kept a cool head in this situation. The main thing I knew he wanted....Was a fight. We were about to clash but Akame had said,

"If you two are going to fight....Stay out of our way.....My fight is with Kurome." Wave had snapped back with,

"No! Why must we do this???!? Why?"

"Because this is war Wave......"

"War doesn't have to be like this! Sure we may have our problems but you also decided to involve yourselves with violence! Nearly putting people in danger." I then got mad and shoved Wave to the ground.

"Don't you get it????? We're all flawed!"

"(M/n)'s right........But now isn't the time...." Akame looked to just get the fight between her and Kurome over. Not wanting to speak on this any longer. Wave wanted to chime in again, but Kurome had declined it.

"Stop Wave! Let me finish this."

      He deactivated Grand Chariot upon listening to Kurome.....I did the same with Incursio. Finally, the sisters have their clash, both looking to go for the killing blow first. Then when their blades bounced off, they both went for the killing blow. Then........The blade went through....Kurome was dead.

"KUROME!!!!!" Wave ran up to the two with me not too far behind, he held onto Kurome gently while Akame was nearly on the verge of tears.

"Akame.........You don't have to worry.......Don't worry........You don't have to be alone in this anymore...." She just looked at me surprised before she started crying into my shirt.
