I love women.
Women are the coolest.
Maybe this is because I do identify as femaleAnd I could go on and on about feminism, women's issues, our rights being violated and so on.. but then this would literally be a 17 page essay, speaking from experience.
But what I really want to touch on is men.
How men react, how men make an impact, how men can help, and how we can help menYes you read right, in feminism, we help men.
The definition of feminism is
The advocacy for women's rights
But I choose to argue with google on that.Feminism is empowerment of all things feminine.
So why do we bash men who are feminine? And why do we bash people who don't want to portray femininity?
There's a shit ton of irony in todays political system, and I think we've kind of fucked ourselves over.
Men and women deserve EQUAL TREATMENT. And the only way we will be getting that is if we actually treat men in a respectful manner.
Which initially is what I do. I don't judge guys, and go on rants about how much I hate them until I get cat called then I want to burn the world down but we won't talk about that.
And let's be honest I still don't think we will get too far with that. LONG STORY SHORT life won't get better. Life is an endless cycle of The law of conservation (said in British accent. If you were reading with a British accent, then fuck you. No reason I'm not racist against British people I'm just pissed at you rn)Ah yes The law of conservation: mass can't be created or destroyed ~energy can't be created or destroyed.
Like so, no one can win. Everyone looses. We can't all have it all. Sucks to suck, but it feels great to be- ok lemme stop.Where was I getting with this? Absolutely no where but wouldn't it be great if utopian societies actually did exist? Guess we're stuck with a shit ton of dystopians.
Anyways, as I was saying men are expected to "take it like a man" "be a man" and yadayadayada, and so on which like, uh yeah they're already men what do you want? But there's unrealistic standards set on men to be masculine, and when they don't comply it makes them viewed lower on the totem pole.
And vice versa, it's a fun hobby to hate on per-formatively "straight men". It's a really fun pass time. With their stupid ass fish pics and lack of hygiene.
And this is exactly my point. On the other side men can't win either, bc they're gonna get backlash for existing from people like me🥳
As a joke of course but it's easy to take stuff like that as a serious matter. So again law of conservation ! Life sucks. And with this, men who don't look into the deep aspects of feminism: men who see what is told to them goes with their initial view: that they're being shit on. As they should! Not the point. So they turn against feminism.
Which brings me to my next point: Why the fuck would men advocate for something they think is turned against them?
They believe feminism is about tearing down men when truly, it's building up women. (Just so happens that this feminist was emotionally scarred by a man, so now I'm coping with generalizing about men👧)So how we can help bring feminism to rise, is by encouraging men, and letting them know, that feminism isn't an attack against men. Because really we wouldn't have anyone to argue with if men didn't exist, so let's just convert the enemy.
I would like to end this segment with a song about generalizing about men:

Stay for the next one, to stay pressed. Don't forget to shit on me in the comments!
Oh and yeah my body my choice.
