No one was exactly worried when Sam didn't show back up at the entrance plaza, they just assumed he got lost on his way back.

"We should go back to find him? He could've hurt himself." Said Sean, worried for his friend.
"He was at the Ferris Wheel last time I saw him, he's probably there." Replied Will, annoyed.

Everyone agreed to go to look for him, everyone except Will that is. After their row, he wanted to be alone for a bit. Will stayed in one of the buildings in the entry way of the park while the others walked back up to the Ferris Wheel.

As the others made their way to the Ferris Wheel, a cold shiver ran over all of them, as if they knew something terrible had just happened. They all began to walk faster once the feeling became unbearable. They reached the Ferris Wheel, and to their horror, there was Sam.

He was sat in one of the buckets of the wheel, the white interior now a deep red. They could see his insides, now swinging slightly as they dangled from multiple open wounds on his body. They also noticed slice marks on his hands, he fought back. He wasn't dead though, he was barely clinging on to life. With his last breath, he muttered one simple word.

"Leave."

Each member of the group was sickened to see their friend like this, even Janine who was known to be colder than the others couldn't help but puke at the sight of her friends now lifeless body.

"I'm so sorry Sam, you didn't deserve this." Katy said through her tears.
"No he didn't, but someone did this to him. Who could it be?" Liam questioned.

They all stood in shock for a few moments until they all heard screaming coming from the direction of the entry plaza. Suddenly, Will appeared, he had slash wounds on his hands and one just above his hip.

"Someone's here, and they want to kill us!" He screamed.
"They locked the all the gates in the entrance, I think we're trapped! We're all gonna die!" He said in hysterics.

As they all tried to comfort him, Janine checked to see if she could get a signal on her phone.

"It's no use, the parks a dead zone, now it seems in more ways than one." Replied Jacob.

Will was confused. As far as he knew, no one was actually dead. That was until Aaron moved away from Will, leaving Sam's body in his line of sight. Will broke down crying.

"Oh my god! I'm so sorry Sam, I should've stayed." He then turned to the group and said:
"He'd still be alive if I stayed."

Katy and Sean tried to comfort him and try to get him to calm down while Liam made a makeshift bandage out of his sleeve for his slash wound above his hip. Janine remained distant from them, unable to speak due to shock. Aaron then stepped towards the lake as he began hearing a song that was playing on the speaker that Sam brought.

He could hear the distinctive lyrics:
"Something tells me somethings gonna happen tonight, I read in the papers that Gemini people will make it tonight"

As the others began to turn their attention to the music, Jacob said something that unsettled the group.

"It sounds like whoever's doing this is taunting us. I don't think we're going to make it out of this place alive."

The rest of the group stood in silence until Janine said, in her usual tone:

"That's so dumb. There's seven of us and one of them. We can make it out of here."
"You don't know that Janine, don't be so confident." Replied Jacob, in an angry tone.

As the duo continued to argue, the others got more and more annoyed until Aaron shouted at both to stop, saying there was more important things to worry about. He then turned to Will and asked what his attacker looked like.

"I don't know, looked like he was wearing a black robe and a white mask." Said Will.
"Like a knock off Ghostface? That's so dumb." Replied Janine.
"Oh shut up, that's not important right now." Said Jacob.

They decided that they should try to get back to the entrance in order to get out but they believed that the killer would think they'd go back the way they left.

However, Sean believed that half of the group should go one way around the park, and the other half the other way. His reasoning being that if there was only one attacker, at least half of them would be able to get to the entrance. The others agreed so they decided that Jacob, Aaron, Janine and Will would go the longer way while Katy, Sean and Liam would go the shorter way to the entrance.

They got ready to leave, but before they did, Katy walked over and closed Sam's eyes as a mark of respect and compassion. She sat with him for a few moments, telling him that he was loved and cared for. She also told him he'll get the justice he deserved and that he'll always be in their hearts before getting up, and walking away.

She walked back to the others, and they started walking the long way around the park.
