Silence fell over the park as Aaron and Janine remained hidden in the abandoned toilet block.

"Why are we still hiding? The music's off, time to start the plan!" Said Aaron, trying to be quiet but failing.
"We need to wait, we have to wait a bit so there's a higher chance the killer is distracted enough by the music for us to have a good shot. Trust me, I know what I'm doing." Replied Janine, speaking in a fast tone.

They stayed in the toilet block for around thirty more seconds in silence until Aaron broke the silence with a question, one he had been meaning to ask Janine the whole night.

"How do you know how to do all this? Like how to survive in a life threatening situation?"

Janine paused for a few seconds before replying:
"Years ago, my old foster parents took me to a survivalist camp every year. They were paranoid people, wanted to make sure I was prepared for life. Just in case my birth parents ever found me."

She went quiet, waiting for a response from Aaron.

"So that's why you're a cold hearted bitch sometimes." Aaron said, putting the pieces together.

"Yeah, never used to be like that. Life hardens you though. That's why I'm a bit of a loner besides being with you, but obviously not anymore." Said Janine, speaking in a slightly gritty tone.

Aaron and Janine slowly snuck out of the toilet block as they continued talking.

"Is that why you outed Jacob? You destroyed his reputation at school. His old friends are so homophobic, even now! It's been 3 years but they still don't talk to him." Aaron said in an argumentative tone, ushering a response from Janine.

"Yes! I never did it because I had something against him being bi, it's just I don't see the point in him hiding his true self when we all can be put in situations like this. There's no point in hiding anymore, everyone's a victim either way." Responded Janine, starting in an argumentative tone, before devolving into a more quiet and reserved tone.

Aaron was speechless, everything seemed so clear. He couldn't bring himself to speak, but he knew he had to just continue with the plan, he and Janine needed to find a way to climb to the top of the tower. They both circled the tower but couldn't find a way to climb up the outside, and couldn't find a door into the centre of the tower to climb to the top from the inside, they needed to find a new high structure to climb.

Sean remained hidden in the entrance plaza, trying to keep his breath as quiet as possible until a few minutes after he turned the music off, the sound of approaching footsteps invaded Sean's ears. He crawled to look through where he was hiding to see the black robe of the Killer, looking in another building.

"This is it, I can jump him, I can get him!" Sean said repeatedly in his head, trying to build the confidence to stand up and strike the Killer over the head with the pole.

He slowly got up and took a few steps out. The Killer stood motionless, looking away from Sean, he knew he was behind him. Sean then heard something that chilled him to the core.

"You're not gonna get out of here Sean."

Sean was paralysed with fear, how could the Killer know his name? The shock kept him still until the Killer slowly turned around.

"Yes, I know who you are. I know who all of you are, or were." The Killer carried on.

"How?" Replied Sean.

"I know a great many things, so don't worry about that. I've been watching you all for a while, waiting for the right moment to snuff you all out in one foul swoop." The Killer said as they began pacing around Sean who was still paralysed in fear.

"But why? What have we all done that's so bad, you want us dead?" Asked Sean, scared but curious.

"I have my reasons, and I'm sure this night will benefit my cause." Replied the Killer.

"So you're doing this for your own sick and twisted gain?! You're not gonna get away with this, you're gonna be stopped!" Shouted Sean, sounding so certain in his word's despite trembling.

"That's all very lovely, but how are you going to stop me, when in a minute, you're going to be bleeding out on this very floor?" The Killer said as they began to raise their knife up to slash Sean's stomach.

Just in time, Sean dodged the knife and raised the pole he was holding, slamming it down on the floor, it had missed its target. Sean took another swing, but the Killer dodged it once again. Sean's fight or flight response kicked in and he began to run away, the Killer in hot pursuit.

As Sean ran, he thought to himself that hurting the Killer would be better than running, so he stopped, turned around, and charged at the Killer. They dodged Sean's attack, but he didn't stop. He swung the pole again, this time hitting its target. The Killer was knocked into the fountain, as they got up, Sean shouted:

"COME AT ME YOU KNOCK OFF GHOSTFACE!"

The Killer replied:
"With pleasure!"

The Killer ran to slash Sean again, grazing against his arm as he tried to dodge his advance. Sean took another swing, hitting their leg. As they fell, the Killer swiped across to Sean and sliced his stomach, luckily it was only a flesh wound. The adrenaline coursing through his body, Sean slammed the pole down on the Killer's back. The Killer went limp. Sean then triumphantly said:

"Like I said, you're not gonna get away with this."

Sean slowly began to come to his senses, panicked and ran to find his friends thinking he had stopped the person terrorising them. He left the entrance plaza and went the same way Jacob, Will and Katy went.

As Sean ran, the Killer slowly got up, the fight was not over.
