The Hendrick Guys- what next?

Part 20

Your POV

You both wake up in the morning and get ready and start packing your things up, you decide to get in touch with Will, Chase and Mahkaila and invite them over to tell them. They all come pretty much straight away and they see some boxes sat around.

"Whats going on? You're not leaving us are you?" Will almost shouts at you, Alex laughs at him and Mahkaila looks at you both in shock,
"Oh my god, are you two moving in together?!" She screams, you both nod and laugh at her as she dances around.

"Im glad you aren't leaving us," Chase and Will say in sync, you smirk at them both and raise your brow at them, they look at each other and go awkward.
"Do you want us to help you move stuff over?" Mahkaila asks, Chase and Will agree and start grabbing boxes and put them in Alex's truck and then the rest in Chase's.
"Be careful you! You should be resting, get the smaller boxes at least!" You shout at Chase as he goes straight for the big heavy boxes, he scoffs, you scowl at him and he picks up smaller boxes.

"Hey Will, the girls will have to travel with you, no room in our trucks! I'm sure you wont mind being stuck with them though!" Chase shouts as he climbs into his truck, Alex winks before getting in his and sets off.
"Ignore them," you say to Will before climbing into the back of his car.

Mahkaila POV

You all follow Alex's truck to their new place and its quiet and seems awkward between Will and (Y/N).

"Are you guys ok? This just seems really awkward." You finally ask them,
"We're fine, as far as I'm aware?" (Y/N) responds sounding a little confused.
"You don't seem yourself Will, is everything ok?" (Y/N) asks Will with concern in her voice, he nods in response.
You and (Y/N) look at each other and shrug your shoulders.

You finally get to some new looking apartments and assume that where they are going to be staying, you help them take everything into the apartment, it takes a few hours but you guys eventually get everything moved in from (Y/N)'s place.

You all decide to stop for a break and order some pizza and all sit and chat, besides Will, who sits quietly and barely talks.

(Y/N) soon stands up and goes outside to talk to her parents on FaceTime and you go outside not long after as she starts saying goodbye to them and hanging up.

"Oh hey!" She says as she turns to see you stood at the door.
"We need to find out what's wrong with Will, it's annoying me." You explain to her, she laughs and agrees. You both hear the door and turn to see Will, you both look at each other and then look at him.

"Why do i feel like you guys were just talking about me?" He asks looking between you both, you shrug,
"Cause we were!" (Y/N) shouts, you slap her arm and she shrugs.

"Whats up Will? Whats bothering you?" She asks again, he shrugs and sits on the wall.
"I think I'm just a little bit worried." He says without looking up,
"Worried about what?" You ask him,
"The race this weekend... just got a bad feeling about it." He explains and look at (Y/N).

She sits down beside him on the wall and reassures him.
"Everything is gonna be ok, don't worry! I'm not gonna be very good, if i can, I'll hang near you and Alex stopping everyone from getting past!" She says, you and Will laugh at her and then she laughs.

Race day...

You watch Alex, Will and (Y/N) practice throughout the week until its time for the race. You all have a team meeting before the race and they head out to their cars.

"Good luck guys!" Chase shouts to them, you do too and both hug (Y/N).
"Good luck babe, you'll smash it, me and Will have your back!" Alex shouts to her as he hugs her and gives her a kiss. You all look at Will who looks really nervous, (Y/N) walks up to him and pulls him in for a hug and whispers something to him and then they all head off to their cars.
You all feel nervous about this race, but clearly not as nervous as Will.
