I can't focus on anything until I feel Clarke wrap her arms around me.
"What did she say?" She asks, her voice muffled by my shoulder. She pulls away from me when I don't say anything. "Hailey?"
My gaze that was directed at the ground focuses on her. "Hm?" I hum, my eyes wide.
"What happened?" Finn asks, suddenly making an appearance.
I stare at him for a moment before I sigh. "Nothing's changed." I mutter.
He presses his lips together and nods. "Then I guess this is goodbye."
My eyes widen. "No!" I say, my voice rising as I walk towards him. "I don't care if you're on a suicide mission or what, but you are not marching into that death fest." I seethe.
He stares at me for a moment, not saying anything.
I scowl, "Don't think I forgive you either." I mutter before turning and walking over to the Ark's entrance. I walk all the way to the engineer's quarters and don't stop until I see Raven.
"Rae," I manage to smile.
She turns around and flips up her welder's helmet, showing her smile. "What's up, Hailey?"
I lean on a nearby table and take in a deep breath. "The grounders want Finn." I murmur, my eyes directed at the floor.
She sucks in a breath. "But," she stutters. "You're not going to let that happen."
I look up, my eyes watering. "I..." My voice falters. "I tried." The tear falls. "I really tried." My vision blurs.
She fully takes off her helmet and walks over to me. She stops before wrapping her arms around me.
"I know you did, but we can't just let him go." She says, her voice thick.
I nod into her shoulder. "I offered myself in his place, but Lexa didn't want me."
Raven freezes in my arms but doesn't pull away.
"Don't ever do that." She squeezes me tighter. "Never give yourself away." She shakes her head against my shoulder. "You mean so much to so many people."
I nod my head.
"What are we going to do?" I ask, a sob racking my body.
"I don't know, Hailey."

I grab my sword from the weapons department by the gate along with a handgun and some knives.
Bellamy and Clarke are next to me doing the same. However, Finn is in hiding as the crowd turned bad.
Bellamy lightly touches my arm, causing me to look at him. "I've got your back, no matter what." He says.
