~Calum
I feel shaken up. Even after the concert where I normally get an adrenaline rush do I still feel an unsettling feeling in the pit of my stomach that just won't go away.
Fuck, I know that I agreed to suggesting marijuana to Paige but I didn't think I would get this freaked out by it.
Even now as I sit in the booth with my friends in the back of this dark yet loud club do I still not feel fully stable over what's going on. By now Paige's high has worn off, but I didn't like when she was on it.
Sure I'm glad that she was finally given a break from her mind and that she seemed genuinely happy, but I knew that it was all a dissimulation of what's really going on inside her head.
"I don't know about you guys, but I'm gonna fucking dance." Vanessa says, already three drinks in too deep. She drags a willing Paige behind her and they make their way to the middle of the dance floor.
Luke takes a sip from his tequila, placing the glass cup back onto the table. "So, I miss anything while rooming with Michael?"
Michael looks back at the blonde appalled, "If anyone is missing out on what's going on, it's these two." He gestures to Ashton and I.
It's true, Michael always knows what the drama is. Whether that's through the internet and the fans or anything that has to do within our group. In this case however, that is an acceptation.
"Actually Mike," I speak up needing to get this off my chest for Luke and Michael. This is something that would be unfair to keep from them. "There is something the two of you have missed out on."
"We've been in Canada for what, twelve hours, and we're already behind on new information?" Michael says in disbelief.
This isn't anything abnormal coming from him, like I said, Michael always knows what the drama is.
"Well this information isn't something that would be trending on Twitter or anything."
"Then what is it?" The four of us have to talk in a much louder volume than I would feel comfortable with, especially talking about this specific thing.
I look at Luke and Michael with a warning glare, "If I tell you, you have to swear not to tell a soul."
The only reason I'm telling them this is because of the relationship Paige and I both have with them. They're family, and when you consider someone to be apart of your family, you trust and tell them everything because you know they'll help you through it.
The two of them swear to not tell anyone, so I look over at Ashton for confirmation to which he gives me a nod.
Hippie little bitch.
"You know how Paige has been incredibly stressed out recently?" I ask to check that I'm not going crazy. A lot of pressure has been put on her lately and I know I'm not the only one that see's how tough it's been on her.
I want her to give herself the chance to relax and be able to fully enjoy this tour without the burdens that come with the amount of work she constantly has.
"Isn't she always stressed?" Luke says stating the obvious. So I'm not going crazy.
"Yes, but haven't any of you noticed how recently it's been accelerated? I mean like she doesn't seem to slow down or give herself a break, ever."
To the guys, I feel I may be overreacting. But because of how well I know Paige and the amount of time we spend together, I know that her stress isn't normal.
"Cal's right," Ashton agrees. "She's also been doing everyone's fucking job for them since the moment she was hired."
"So what are you trying to say Cal?" Michael asks making me realize that I'd yet to say it. I turn around in my seat to see Vanessa and Paige on the dance floor having the time of their life, completely oblivious to the conversation that the four of us are having over here.
