Tina lied in wait for Rory at the barn he worked at. If he could be bribed once, he could be bribed again. This was only logical and of course, Tina was obviously the most logical human to have ever walked the Earth. As she waited, watching, her mind wandered to her son. She didn't particularly care about him, but she felt a red hot sense of indignation that he had been taken from her. And that was her sister Ava's fault and the only way she could see to rectify this was by making Ava and her business suffer.
Rory did not see the woman in large sunglasses lurking by the door as he started to leave the barn. When she reached out a long fingered hand with even longer stiletto nails, he leapt to the side and away from the talons.
"Now, darling, why so scared?" Tina said in what she thought was a silky tone but really it sounded a little more like air leaking out of a deflating bicycle tire.
"Thought I told you to fuck off," Rory turned away from her and kept walking towards where he had parked. He had to tell Will, and soon. Soon wasn't the problem since Rory was supposed to be going over there for dinner after work, the problem was how to tell Will.
"I will give you double the amount if you do just one little thing for me," She wheedled.
Rory didn't even answer, feeling rather sick and sweaty. He had a lot of guilt for the not so nice things he had done for money for her and now that she was back asking for more, he felt cheap. He fumbled as he tried to pull his keys out of his jeans, nothing going fast enough. But soon enough, he was leaving the barn and on the way to see Will, leaving Tina standing in the dust behind him.
A/N
