Chapter 15

"Okay, so I called the caterers and they're all on their way here. We've got all the decorations and furnishings, also the music. Done. What else do we need?" I said to both Lisa and Jessie.

"I think we should definitely finalise the guest list. It's important to have all of Zack's closest friends and family there" Jessie nodded with a clipboard with everything we needed to complete before tonight.

"NO! the flowers go over THERE! Are you blind!?" Lisa said with sass to one of the girls from the cheerleading team who were currently decorating the Morris' house.

Since Zack has been in hospital for a week and a bit, I decided that throwing him a little surprise party would welcome him home.

When I had told Lisa, Jessie and Kelly they were so excited they offered to help.. We had completely transformed the living room; it was covered with balloons, streamers, flowers, anything you can think of, we used it.

Kelly was with Zack and his mum keeping him occupied while we were running around the place making sure the final touches were perfect.

"You know Lols, I think it's really sweet what you're doing for Zack" Lisa said with a smile. I grinned at one of my best friends, thinking about how lucky I am to have her, Jessie and Kelly in my life.

"Thanks Lis, thanks for helping set up" I said placing the last of the decorations up. I made my way over to both her and Jessie, finished with everything for right now. I wrapped my arms around the both of them, admiring the hard work we had done for the past 2 days.

"Guys.... This will be a night to remember"

"You got that right"

"Hell Yeah!"

"Let's get it started!"

"Okay guys, Zack and his mum will be here in about 5 minutes, everyone take their places. When they walk through the door, everyone will jump out and yell 'Surprise!'. Okay? right, places everyone!" Kelly yelled to the packed living room of the Morris house.

I crouched behind the couch with Kelly, Lisa and Jessie. Kelly looked beautiful in her usual body con dress.

Jessie was... Jessie, looking stunning in jeans, a t-shirt and her jacket. Lisa, the fashionista, was wearing one of the fanciest hats I have ever seen, paired with an animal print dress and a leather jacket.

I decided to wear a maroon turtle-neck body con dress, my leather jacket and leather boots.

I was so nervous, this party was special to us girls because we wanted to welcome Zack back, and because we all love and care for him.

I looked over at my best friends. My sisters. From the moment I arrived here they have been nothing but amazing to me and I really appreciate their welcoming me. They loved Zack so much, as much as they say he annoys them, they do love him a lot. These girls were my fiends for life. I hope so.

My nerves maximised to their extreme when we all heard a car pull up outside. Zack was here. Zack was here! right now!

I didn't have much time to comprehend my thoughts when I heard Zack's voice.

"Mum! Please just let me go see Lola" He argued. I stifled a laugh at him. Little did he know that we were all hiding in his own house.

We all heard Zack's mum laugh and turn the key to the door. My breath hitched in my throat as the door swung open and I braced myself for Zack's reaction.

Footsteps came closer and closer to the living room, along with the squeaking of wheels.

"Now Zack, just sit in the living room for a bit and then I'll get some of your friends to come around". Suddenly the light to the living room illuminated the room.

We all quickly jumped from our hiding places.

"SURPRISE!"

A/N: OMG I'm so sorry to all of you! I just haven't been able to write at all lately cause my teachers give me like 5 assignments at once and I just finished my exams.

I will try and write some more soon and get it up as soon as I can. And I'm sorry for the short chapter.
