Chapter 4

My alarm blaring woke me up from my sweet slumber. I groaned and slammed the snooze button, dragging my tired and exhausted body from the bed. I sighed with a smile knowing that I would get to see Zack again today.

Last night was seriously the most amazing night in my entire life and I was happy to say that I was falling in love with Zack, I mean who wouldn't? He was cheeky and funny and not to mention very attractive

I quickly got dressed into some nice clothes and did my hair and makeup before brushing my teeth. I made my way downstairs. There was no one down here, that means my dad and David obviously have gone to work.

I grabbed my car keys and walked out the door to see Zack walking up my driveway. "Lola!" He said as he finally saw me. He jogged his way up to the front door of my house

"Hey Zack, what are you doing here?" I asked with a smile. He laughed for some unknown "I thought we could go to school together" He said rubbing the back of his neck, something he does when he's nervous. "Of course, that'd be great!" I said locking the front door.

We both walked to my car in silence. I hopped into the driver's seat, Zack sitting next to me in the passenger seat. The ride to school wasn't too bad. We talked about movies we liked and songs, all that jazz.

We arrived to school earlier than usual, ealry for Zack I should say. Zack got out and ran around to my side, opening the door for me. "Thanks" I said before locking the car. Zack held his hand out for me to take, making me blush and headed into the building.

Immediantly everyone started to asked us questions. Zack cooly replied to all of them as we made our way to our lockers. "Hey Lola, I've gotta talk to Belding, I'll see you in class" He said, kissing my cheek. I nodded before turning back to my locker. "Hey Lola, how was your date?" A voice asked from behind me. I turned to see Kelly, standing with her books. I nodded and told her about what happened.

"That's cute. Look, I've gotten tell you something about Zack" She said. I listened to what she had to say.

Zack's POV

After Mr Belding talked to me I walked out to see Lola and Kelly in a heated conversation. I couldn't hear much though. "Hey, preppy" Slater said walking over to me "You need to pay up now" He said. I glanced at Lola who was staring back at me, glaring. Oh shit, Kelly must've told her.

"Not now" I said as I saw Lola stomp her way towars me. She pushed me by my shoulders and I hit the lockers behind me "You bastard!! How could you do that!" She yelled at me. "What did I do?" I asked, acting confused.

She rolled her eyes and crossed her arms over her chest. "You made a bet with Slater that you could get me to go out with you! Is that the only reason you did it? To win a bet?" She yelled again. I looked at Kelly with evil eyes, but she just smirked at me.

"No, I mean yes but-" I tried to get out but I was cut off "So you never liked me!" She spat with venom. I sighed "I do like you, I mean, Slater made the bet with me. I didn't think I would like you but I did, and I do. Please don't hate me" I said in a rush. Kelly smirked again. God she was gonna pay.

"I still can't believe you only asked me out because of the bet" Lola said a lot quieter this time. I sighed again before stepping closer towards her. "Lola, I would've asked you out anyway. You're gorgeous and smart and funny" I said brushing her cheek softly with my hand. She blushed under my stare.

"Do you forgive me?" I asked. She looked hesitant at first, I could tell that Kelly knew that also "Lola, you don't have to forgive him. He was a dic-" I cut her off "Kelly, are you in this conversation? no. Lola, could we talk privately?" I asked her, glaring at Kelly.
