Chapter 7

"Hey guys, this is Cameron, he's new and I thought he might want some friends" I said to the gang as Cameron, Zack and myself walked into the Max.

They all smiled and some said "of course" and "sure".

I took my usual seat next to Zack and ended up in between him and Cameron.

"Hey guys, the usual for all of you?" Kelly asked as she came up to us in her waitress outfit. We all nodded.

"Oh Cameron, what do you want?" I asked him. I felt Zack tensed beside me so I grabbed his hand to make him relax, which, thankfully, he did.

Cameron placed his order and we were soon discussing random things about everything in our lives. Until Lisa mention a 'hot topic', which apparently is the talk of the school.... Me and Zack.

"You guys are so cute, like, you have no idea! And everyone is so jealous" Lisa said fast while everyone was listening in.

I blushed as Zack smirked and rested his arm on the back of the chair behind me.

"Really?" I said while playing with a napkin. This time it was Jessie who spoke up.

"Yeah, I overheard a group of guys today, and they were saying how much they wanted to be Zack" She said while Slater stared at her. He totally likes her.

"Wow, um, I guess that's a good thing, right?" I asked nervous. I looked at Cameron, only to see that he was already staring at me, which made me quickly look away. I was suddenly nervous under everyone's stare.

"Yeah! Of course they would, you're gorgeous!" Lisa said just as our food arrived which was actually the most perfect timing.

Now everyone was destracted by their food and not me, except two certain boys.

"Dad!?" I yelled into the house. No one replied. They must be out. I turned back at Zack who was standing just outside the threshold of the door, giving him a signal to come in.

We walked up to my room where we took our places on my bed.

"So, how was your day?" Zack asked as soon as my head hit his chest.

We were both lying on my bed, well I was practically laying ontop of Zack.

"It was good, what about you?" I looked up at Zack with a soft smile, which he returned. "It was good, except...." He trailed off.

"Except what?" I asked sitting up while crossing my legs. He looked away and sighed heavily.

"Well, it's just, Cameron-" Before he could finish I cut him off.

"Cameron? Are you serious? What has he done?" I asked looking at Zack with a confused look.

"Well, I just- He was flirting with you Lola, and you didn't stop him. And I didn't like the way he was looking at you" Zack said, his eyes staring at my face, waiting for some hint of what I was thinking right now.

What was I thinking? I'm a bit glad that Zack is mad about someone flirting with me, and I mean, it is hot so who am I to complain?

"You're jealous?" I asked with a small smirk that was starting to form from the corner of my mouth.

"What? No! I'm no-" "You so are Zack! Why would you be mad if you weren't? And plus, I don't think of him that way, I think of you that way" I said grabbing his hand that swallowed mine.

He glanced at me, not saying a word. "I think it's kind of hot" I finished off with a blushed rising on my cheeks. "You do? So you're not mad?" He asked with a smile.
