Chapter 3

I stared at myself in the mirror as David sat on the bed behind me. "You look stunning!" He exclaimed clapping fast. I wasn't sure. I mean, I'm not the prettiest girl, and sometimes guys only date me for my money.

"I don't think so" I said flopping down next to him. David sighed "You're the most beautiful girl I've ever seen. You look stunning, I tell ya, Zack is a lucky guy" He said. I nodded and stood up. The door bell interrupted us.

"He's here" I shouted in a whispered. I ran out of the room but stopped at the top of the stairs, graciously making my way down them.

Finally I arrived at the door and pulled it open, revealing Zack in a Denim jacket, dark blue jeans and a white top. "Wow, Lola, you look..... wow" Was all he said staring at me.  blushed and looked behind me at David. "I'll be back before 11:30" I said and walked out the door, closing it behind me.

"I'm so happy I asked you out" Zack said kissing my cheek. This made me blush "I'm glad you asked me to" I said. He held out his hand for me to hold which I took without hesitation. "Where are we going?" I asked excitedly as we walked down the street.

My house was in the estate, just around the corner from the main part of Bay side. "First, to The Max, then I have a surprise" He said looking down at me.

I had to admit. Zack is the most good looking boy I've met. "Sounds like fun" I said. Tonight was going to be amazing.

Zacks' POV

As soon as I laid eyes on Lola tonight, I couldn't stop looking at her. She looked stunning as always. I couldn't help but giving her many glances as we walked and talked. I smiled when she smiled. Laughed when she blushed. I had to admit, this girl was definitely doing something to me.

We were finally out the front of The Max where we would begin our date. I opened the door "After you" I said standing aside for her. She gigled and made her way in "Thank yo-" She was cut off by the sight in front of her.

The cafe was cleared of everyone and there, in the centre of the room, was a single table with candles and a rose. "I had Max make special arrangments" I said placing my hand on her lower back. The sudden touch gave me goose bumps. "Zack, I don't know what to say, this is amazing" Lola said as I pulled her seat out for her. She sat down softly and I tucked her chair in.

I swiftly walked over to my chair andsat down, directly across from her. "You don't have to say anything, just be your beautiful self" I said, putting my charm on.  Lola blushed at my comment. God she was cute.

We ate dinner under candlelight, it was very romantic. We talked about all sorts of things, we were really getting to know each other.

Before I knew it, it was time for her surprise.

Lola's POV

The blind fold was placed over my eyes, blocking my view of my surrounding. "Where are you taking me?" I giggled. I felt an arm wrap around my waist, guiding me to the surprise "It's a surprise for a reason, oh watch your step" Zack said. I carefully placed my foot on the ground. It was soft.

"Okay on 3 you can take the blind fold off" I shut my eyes together tightly. "1.......2.......3" I took the blind fold off, my eyes still closed. Slowly I began to open them.

We were outside on the beach. There was a picnic blanket and a white screen. Fairylights were everywhere. "Zack, this is incredible. Did you really do all this just for me?" I asked glancing at him. He was smiling down at me. "Yeah, why wouldn't I?" He asked.

He guided me over to the blanket and we sat down. "This is so beautiful, thank you Zack" I said looking around. A hand brushed my upper arm "You deserve to be spoilt" He said with his serious face. I blushed under with stare. It was making me fidgit.

"What movie are we watching?" I asked scooting closer to him. He did the same. "The Breakfast Club, is that alright with you?" Zack asked as heguided my body to sit between his legs. "Of course. It's a good movie" I said leaning into him.

His hand was right next to me mine. "Let's get started then" He said placing a kiss on the side of my head.

"Thanks for the date Zack, I really enjoyed it" I said outside my front door. Our date was over, sadly, and it was time to bid him farewell. "I'm glad you enjoyed it" He said. I pulled his blazer off from around my shoulders and handed it to him.

"Thanks" He said. His hand touched mine as he took the jacket. He slowly engulfed my hand in his, pulling me closer toward him. "Can I kiss you?" he asked me softly. Just the fact he asked made me get goosebumps. "Yes" was all I said before his lips softly hit mine, making my whole body tingle.

I pulled away, slowly opening my eyes. He tucked a strand of hair behind my ear. "I'll see you tomorrow.... beautiful" He said. He placed another kiss on my forehead before walking away.

I walked through the door, my back leant against it and slowly slid down so I was sitting on the ground. He kissed me. Zack Morris just kissed me.

"Lolly! How'd the date go!?" a voice yelled from upstairs. I quickly stood up and straightened my outift. "It was good" I said walking up the stairs. "I'm going to bed so, night" I said to both david and my dad "Goodnight sweetheart" my dad said before I closed the door to my bedroom. I stripped myself of my clothes and took my makeup off. I couldn't wait til school tomorrow.

I slowly hopped into bed in just my bra and underwear. Drifting into a soft slumber, awaiting to see the boy I have fallen in love with.

A/N

Sorry it's short but I think I should've ended it after the date so the next chapter will be all about tomorrow, and there may even be some drama in it ;)

I changed the name of Bethany to Lola, I didn't like Bethany that much, sorry guys if you liked her name!!!
