" We set? " Hank asked through their communication devices." Plaza's clear. " Donna said.
" I'm in position. " Dawn told them. " Dick, do you copy? Dick come in. Anybody got eyes on Dick? "
" Dick, we're at the Plaza. Where the fuck are you? " Hank asked worried.
Anais slowly dragged the older man's unconscious body and tied him up in one of the adjacent abandoned buildings in the area. She carefully took the earpiece from him and placed it in her ear.
" Sorry, guys. "
" Anais? " She heard Dawn's gentle voice ask.
" Other plans. " The girl said before dropping the device on the floor and stepping on it.
She quickly jogged out of the building and sneaked in the Plaza. Walking in the building, she noticed the gloomy atmosphere right away. It made her think of her past home; dark and sad. Weirdly enough, even while remembering her past prison she didn't feel resentment, sadness, nor anger. To be frank, she didn't feel a single emotion while thinking of her bad memories.
Walking in the elevator, she pushed the button for the highest floor, where she could faintly feel Jason's mind waves seeping from. Smiling softly at the thought of having to save her friend's ass, she flinched when she suddenly heard the elevator's doors open.
Getting off the metal contraption, she quietly made her way in the seemingly abandoned room. Looking around she figured that this room was in the making. There were multiple tables scattered around, plastic sheets dangling from the ceiling, and only had a few construction lights hanging on the walls.
She walked in the middle of the room, cracking her neck, ready for a fight. She cleared her throat and turned towards one of the dark corners of the area.
" I know you're here. " She said, glaring at the darkness. " I'm sure this has nothing to do with Jason or Rose. Hell, I don't fucking care about your personal problems and grudges. You want your pound of flesh? Fine. " She nodded in approval. " Revenge over what happened with the old Titan crew? Good for you. " She smiled and chuckled.
Walking slowly towards the corner, she continued:
" I want this to end just as much as you. So... " She titled her head slightly feeling her blood heat up. " How about we make a deal, huh? " Anais asked cockily. " How about... an alive son of a bitch called Dick Grayson? " She tempted. " In exchange for my innocent friend you abducted. "
She lifted her hand and extended her hand politely, smiling with all her teeth.
" I'm pretty sure he's the Dick you want anyway. " She added pretentiously. " Let's get this over with, huh? " She proposed.
Suddenly, a sword's blade grazed her throat and ran up to her chin. Chuckling she backed off, retracting her hand, and getting the blade off her throat with a finger's push.
" There, there, mister Wilson. No need for such violence. " She laughed off.
Slade creeped out of the darkness, his red mask making the young girl shiver in excitement.
" Not that I wouldn't want to beat your ass, and... probably kill you, but I do think there are other urgent matters at hand. "
" Such as? " His deep voice asked sternly.
" My little dumbass poney whom you stole away from me! "
" Jason Todd. " He said, knowing it could only be him.
" We've got unfinished business. You see, he told me he loved me... " She exaggerated a fake cry. " But then, he lied and said he said nothing. Nothing! " She squealed dramatically, putting her hand on her chest as if it was hurting her physically.
