The day after, I wake up early.

Yesterday I was too tired to unpack my stuff, but I want to spend today to do this. It's a Saturday, and school starts on Monday, so I have today to unpack, and tomorrow to go a little around the city which will be my new home for 3 years.

I go in the kitchen, where I find mom already having breakfast.

"Morning." I say, and grab a cup, and make me some tea.

"Morning." She smiles "what's your plan for today?"

"I'm going to unpack my stuff and try to make my room a little happier."

She chuckles, and we both eat silently.

When I get back in my room, I grab a shirt and a pair of shorts, and pull my hair into a bun.

I glance over to the big boxes left in the corner of my room, and take a deep breath.

The first one contains all my clothes, and that's pretty much the easiest thing to unpack.

I tidily put everything in my closet, and move on to the next box.

It takes me half an hour, and a few minutes of crying over some old pictures I probably shouldn't have brought, and the room finally looks a little more like my room.

I'm going to the equestrian center today. I decide. I want to see how it is there, and also say hi to Rose.

The place is actually not far from home, so I take a few carrots, tell my mom I'll be out for a while, take my bicycle, and leave.

Ten minutes - maybe fifteen - and I get to the equestrian center. The place looks nice, and very big.

After I look around a little, I find the owner of this place, Sonja. I'm pretty sure I spelled it wrong, but whatever.

"Uh, hi?" I say "I'm Isabelle, from England."

"Oh yes." She smiles "The owner of Black Thorn, right?" I nod, and she continues "she was crazy since she came here. Quite a horse you've got there."

"Yeah, she's got a temper. But I know her since she was born, I guess she was just upset because she didn't know where I was."

"Okay then, follow me."

I do, and she leads me to the stable where Rose is. I can hear her kicking the box, nervous, so I hold up a finger to Sonja, to stop her, and go inside the box.

"Hey Rose," I smile "it's me, Isabelle."

She calms down as soon as she makes out my voice, and I stroke her, until I find her face with my other hand, and place a kiss on her forehead.

"I've missed you!"

She seems to have noticed my carrots, so I give them to her, and leave the box.

"Wow," she says, impressed "we weren't able to calm her down."

I chuckle. "That's my horse."

She shows me around, and informs me I'll have lessons on Tuesday and Thursday, and of course it'll be only me and the instructor, who surprisingly is called Nicky too, until we'll be able to make her do a normal lesson with other horses around.

They'll also help me make her jump, because they go around Italy to do jumping competitions a lot, so they want to make Rose learn. That's cool, because I've always wanted to jump, but in England we didn't really go to competitions.
