'19' Last Days Of Being a Teenager |Memoir

School

I wrote an exam today for a course I never attended a class of. I never wrote a single note, neither did I recognise the lecturers for this course and several others.

Now I sound like the 'unserious student' my parents warned me about. Truth is, its hard being serious when you have no interest in the program you were given.
Its hard being serious when you dont see the practicality of the lessons being taught in classes in real life.
Its hard playing along with a joke of an educational system that is no longer relevant in today's world.

Its 2nd semester, Sophomore year of a 5 year degree; And I am exhausted!

Dont get me wrong, I love learning. But i'm tired of the pretense, and stress. I am tired of my parents calling; hoping i'm doing great when in all sincerity i am not. I am tired of living up the the high standards my elder siblings unconciously set for me.

I am currently in the middle of my sophomore year exams. And to be honest, it might just be my last, because this joke of a college degree, isn't t funny anymore.
