Sometimes you don't fall in love with people, you fall in love with who they are becoming.
So when we say we like someone, We don't. What's happened is that you've tried to size the person up and you realized (in that moment) that it's impossible to as such a person has so much potential that to be sized up in an instant is unreasonable and foolish.
I wonder if anyone's falling for me on this theory.
I wonder who they think I'm becoming.
I wonder who I'm actually becoming.
