Josie POV:

My head hurts and my back aches since I woke
up on the wrong side of the bed. Lizzie's alarm clock continues going off, giving me the worst headache of my life. I wake up to find my sister dead asleep, not even attempting to silence the God Forsaken noise. I approach her and seize her alarm, slamming it against the door.

Lizzie jolts awake in a panic, and I walk out the door. Some might say I'm still angry with Lizzie because she knew Penelope was leaving and didn't tell me until it was too late, or because she gave her blessing to Hope to win Miss Mystic Falls, ignoring my feelings about getting to wear my mother's dress. Don't get me wrong, the list could go on and on. I adore my twin sister, but I need some alone time. I'm tired of being controlled and unheard, even though that will never change, and if it did, Lizzie and I would never get along.

I come into the cafeteria and see my friends already sat; I'm not particularly hungry, but I go over and take a seat next to Mg; as I sit down, I notice Hope and Landon enter. Hope is sits next to me, while Landon is seated across from her.

Hope Pov:

I sit next to Josie, who appears pale. I ask if she's okay, and she claims she's fine and smiles, but the grin fades when Lizzie marches in like Mad Max. Josie casts an Invisible spell and vanishes. I giggle and look across to Landon, who is chuckling at a moment he shared with Raf.

Lizzie sits where Josie had just disappeared from and rolls her eyes as I look her direction . I decided to take this opportunity to find out why Josie was irritated and bother the evil blonde. "What have Satan done today to turn beautiful Josie into John Cena" I say to Lizzie who responded with a "Since when have you cared about Josie?" She then turns to Landon and say "ah I see, bird boy is safe and don't require protection so decided to make friends haven't we?"

I began to chuckle "Bird Boy?" I say perplexed
"Wow that's a new one"

Landon looks offended and I apologize for my laughter . The Bell rings meaning class is starting. Lizzie and I have never gotten alone since she accused me of setting fire to my own room for attention, so her retort wasn't unexpected. Landon and I get up and walk hand in hand until we need to split up to go to different classrooms; on the way, I take a small diversion to get some fresh air.

Lizzie POV:

My twin sister was smashing things around, unconcerned about my beauty slumber. I'm really irritated by this, so I hurry to get dressed for my classes today in order to get breakfast, but also gracefully so that I may still look better than everyone. I proceed to the cafeteria in search of Josie but am unable to locate her. As I see the lone seat left next to Hope, I scold. I take the seat and converse with Mg, until a filthy bug approaches me, Hope Mikaelson, and inquires about Josie.

I quickly ended the conversation and walked off with Mg to class as the bell rang, realizing I had forgotten to eat breakfast. Mg must have read my mind because he turned to me and handed me a blueberry muffin, one of my favorites, I kissed on the cheek. He walked me to classes and I thanked him as he walked off to his first period.

I believed I could just observe Josie's demeanor during class. I sat down and looked around for my sister, but she was nowhere to be found. I didn't have a gut sensation, so I assumed she was fine but running late. When the teacher announced the class attendance, I realized that nosy Hope was not one of them here either.

Josie POV:

I left the cafeteria and went outside to tend to my plants; I adore plants, and this is one of my favorite locations on the planet since it is so serene and lovely. As the aroma of the lovely flowers reached my nostrils, my headache began to fade.
