Josie Pov:

I felt stuck after Hope left; did that just happen? I touch my neck in the mirror and stare at it. It certainly did, I think to myself, helplessly smiling. My phone alarm went off, telling me that it was time for soccer practice. Today's practice would involve a scrimmage with a few players from Mystic Fall High. I dash out the door, unconcerned of the hickey on my neck.

"You're late, run a lap," the coach yells as I arrive on the field. "By 3 minutes," I scoff. "3 minutes late, take a lap," he says, blowing his whistle and pointing down the field, clipboard in hand, whistle dangling from his mouth. Ugh, I think to myself as I drop my belongings and run.

My twin sister soon follow close behind. She inquires, "Late?" I roll my eyes and say, "By 3 minutes." "He's such a pain in the." Coach blows his whistle before Lizzie can finish her sentence,  "I heard that, Josie, you can come back, Lizzie, run for another 5 minutes," I laugh as Lizzie gives him the finger and he says, "Make it 10." I stop by the bench on my way back to the field and see Hope; I smile at her and she reciprocates with a wink.

As Jed walks alongside me, I take a sip of water.
He raises an eyebrow and say , "At least someone got some play yesterday." "Who?" I foolishly inquire. "If you don't want people to know, maybe put some makeup on it," he says as he runs to the field, after touching my neck where the hickey is.

How could I have forgotten that quickly? I dash to the field, hoping Lizzie didn't see, I crook my neck and walk around her. She gives me a strange look and asks, "What's up with your neck?" she says concerned. I lie and say, "I slept wrong." "You're a terrible liar, Josie; you were just running fine." She says she turned my neck to check what was wrong and saw the hickey. "Is that a hickey?" She comes to a pause and exclaims, "I knew it you and Hope?" she adds quietly, remembering seeing me in my panties earlier .

"Please, Lizzie, not right now," I urge; she complies and says, "Fine, Later," before returning to her original position . While putting up a fight against the MFHS. Maya sees me and waves as she takes a seat next to Hope. I return the wave with a smile.

Hope Pov:

Except for the fact that she likes Josie, I had no issues with Maya. It's not like she has any knowledge of Josie or me, so her flirtation isn't disrespectful. Josie was single as far as she knew. But, given the hickey I left on Josie, she'll find out soon enough. She waves to Josie, and Josie waves back. Maya asks if she can have a seat. As I tell her yes, I smile. She bought a few friends this time. A dark blonde and a black-haired girl. Hey, I said to them as they took a seat next to me, opposite of Maya.

"Hope right?" the dark blonde girl asks. "Yes, and your name?" I ask. She introduces them, saying, "Emilia, and this is Andi, she's new to town. "Andi? Where did you come from, if I may ask?" I inquire, making conversation with the girl seated next to me. "Mexico, although I was born in New Orleans," she replies, vaping as she looks back at me. "I was born in New Orleans, maybe our parents knew each other," I explain. "I doubt it; I only lived there till I was a year old." Sophia is my mother's name, and Marcel is my father's. As soon as she mentioned her parents, I froze. "How about yours?" she inquires, interested.

"My mother's name is Hayley, and Klaus is my father," I continue. "I'm very certain I've heard those names before; what's your surname?" She maintains her composure. I responded, "Mikaelson, Hope Mikaelson." "Mikaelson? I'll check with my mom to see if she was familiar with them". She says to me "I'm guessing your surname is Gerard," I say, my gaze fixed on the game. She ask, "You know my father?" I tried to compel her by saying, "um, No, forget what I said."

"Are you okay?" She ask me concerns and looking at me as if I'm crazy. Is she a vampire? I think to myself, wondering since Marcel is a Vampire. "Um yes, sorry I just heard of him before" I lie as I then see the teams clapping each other hands as they walked into a single line. Josie then run up to us.

"Great game," Maya exclaims. "Thank you," Josie says before turning to face me. "Someone's been getting busy," Maya replies flirtatiously, "To bad it's not with me," she adds quietly after noticing the hickey and then got up to leave. Emilia smiles and says, "Nice to meet you Hope," and I quickly return the smile. "Hey Andi, here's my number, maybe we could talk more?" I tell Andi as she was preparing to follow suit. She accepts it with a smile. She then proceeded to Emilia, who was waiting for her.

As Andi walks away, Lizzie approaches Josie and me. "You," she says, indicating me. "Me?" I say this after scanning the area to see who she's pointing to. "Yes, you Mikaelson.  You, Josie?" She asks, her voice firm. "Stop, Hope and I were just a mistake," Josie adds coldly as she walks away. When I hear it, my heart sinks. Lizzie scolds me, then walks away with her sister.

I'm sad as I walk to my room. I decided to go to the library after an hour or so, expecting to get some work done. I see Josie and Cleo as I enter. "Hey, Hope," Cleo says to me, "Hey," I respond as I walk past them, glancing at Josie, who does not glance up at me. I take a seat at the table across from them, facing Josie. Before getting a text from a strange number, I started working on my assignment. "Hey, it's Andi, you busy?" It was written. "Actually, no," I say. She texted back, "Cool, I asked my mom about your people." "Are you available to meet me at the soccer field?" She texted me once more. "Yes," I said. I look up to see Josie eyes, she looks sad. what's wrong, I think to myself.

I decided against asking because I was still hurt by her earlier remark. Maybe she didn't want Lizzie to know, I reason, as I battle the urge to check on her. I return her stare, and she returns my stare before returning to her homework. I gather my belongings and sped out the library.

Josie Pov:

I'm in the library with Cleo, attempting to complete some work. Which was difficult because my mind kept repeating Hope handing her number to another girl when I stood in front of her. We don't date but the talking stages gives me the right to be jealous. To be honest, I felt more upset and deceived than I was jealous. "Hey Hope," Cleo says, and Hope responds, "Hey." I kept my gaze fixed on my homework, unwilling to look at her.

As she walks by, I look up to see her take a table two tables down from me, facing my direction. I look up to see her texting; I assume it's that girl from the field, I soon get caught by Hope locking eyes with me. I look away just to look back feeling her eyes on me. She then speeds out. I sigh.

Lizzie Pov:

Mg and I are going to play soccer one-on-one. He claims to be able to destroy me. I notice two people on the bench as we approach. I think it's Hope and maybe Josie, but as the girl turns slightly, I realize I'm wrong. Hope and the girl are conversing. I'm not sure what they're talking about, so I ask Mg to listen in while we play soccer. He kicks the ball and says, "I don't think this is a good idea, people deserve their privacy Lizzie." "Just do it," I say, kicking the ball back. He gives in. We keep playing soccer as he tells me what's going on. "They're talking about Marcel, I assume he's her father, and how he stayed in New Orleans after they moved to Mexico, and Hope and her are related?" he pauses. "Marcel had a daughter," I repeat to myself as he finishes puzzled.

I return to my room after finishing the game to tell Josie about the tea.
