No one Pov:
Lizzie, like the majority of the Salvador students, went off to sleep. Their pupils were fatigued from their emotions and hoped for a better day in the morning .
Alaric and the rest of the employees, who were also fatigued, agreed to stay up and consider the broader picture. What was the strategy behind all of this emotional turmoil? Alaric pondered, attempting to stay one step ahead of the Malivore monster, which seems impossible at this time. Alaric's only possession was the school, and the students were his children, whom he wished to protect, despite the fact that they could probably protect themselves far better than he could. Considering he's just a hunter with no special abilities. Alaric had a difficult day, but that was not the end; he would defend all of his students, leaving no one behind.
Hope, on the other hand, had no idea what she was up to, she was just jumping around, and the sensation of jealousy must have leapt onto her as she began to feel envious of the news she had received. This wasn't Hope; she was always calm and collected, always the pack's leader, but Malivore had gotten to her this time, and she couldn't figure out why; she knew others had crushes on Landon at school, but Josie having one was a different issue.
Josie being dragged along to Landon room was wore out, she just wanted to sleep, the feeling of envy left her once Hope showed she didn't care, Josie wanted to be in her room and laid across from her sister, even tho Lizzie could be a lot Josie loved her and her company, it always made Josie feel safe and after this long day she had experience she wanted to be near her and make sure she was okay.
The Pair had stopped infront of Landon room and Hope let go of Josie arm and Josie stood there looking in Hope's eyes, experiencing the unease she had felt previously. "You ready?" Hope asks, smiling.
Josie was disturbed, but agreed she didn't want to do what Hope had hinted but also wanting to see if there was something there with Landon, still not sold on the ideas considering the circumstances that Hope is in, allowing this because she's hooked on a emotion. With the spare key she possessed, Hope unlocked Landon's door. All of Landon's crying had worn him out, and he was fast sleeping.
Josie smiled at Landon, who she could picture having a crush on because he was not a bad looking guy and had a great caring personality besides the "crybaby i need a hero" attitude he been giving lately.
Hope startled Landon awake, and before he could respond, she silenced him and asked for his permission. She didn't want to hear his voice right now, and she didn't want the massive headache she had lost a few hours ago to return. He nodded, Hope turned to Josie and then to Landon and Smirked. "Great Kiss him," Hope murmured, and Josie paused then kissed him. Josie hastily backed away, her stomach churning with nausea.
Hope charmed them out of the room and lulled Landon to sleep, making everything seem like a dream. Although it was her idea, Hope's jealousy grew as she watched her boyfriend and friend kiss.
Hope questioned coldly about Josie's feelings. "Nothing," Josie said after a brief pause, "I didn't feel nothing," she grinned as she looked at Hope. Hope smirked, relieved that the sense of jealousy had passed her by and that lust had taken over.
Alaric, who was wandering around the halls, observed the girls and spoke about their feelings before telling them they needed to rest.
Josie smiled at her father's words, said her goodnights, and walked away from Hope, partially rushing away so she could check on Lizzie in her bed. Since it was 12:30 a.m. when Josie arrived in her room to find a sleeping Lizzie, she decided not to wake her up. Josie took a shower and fell asleep.
*Next Morning*
Hope Pov:
I sigh as I wake up in the bright sunlight after not sleeping until 2 a.m. Last night, I returned to my room and painted a picture to help me clear my mind. My hands were caked with paint. As soon as the hot water reached my body, all of my recollections from the previous night came flooding back. I had to apologize to Josie because I'm so humiliated about how I acted yesterday. I exited the shower and entered my room, where I examined the painting I had created. It was a nice painting, though I had no idea what it was. I changed into my outfit and went to the cafeteria .
As I enter breakfast, I notice Landon conversing and smiling with Josie, I became a little envious of the two, but nothing serious. I walk over there, and Josie moves over to make room for me; I give her a modest grin, still embarrassed by my behavior the day before.
Landon leans over the table and kisses me on the lips before joking about the bizarre dream he had about Josie and me the night before.
I look down after looking at Josie. "Do you think I can talk to you?" I ask Josie, who nods. As we were about to get up to talk, the bell rang, "ugh," I sigh. Today was Friday, which meant I had Wolf classes, so I'll have to talk to Josie later. "Later," Josie whispered as she walked away, touching my arm. Giving me chills, Landon already waiting for me by the cafeteria doors I headed his way.
