Josie Pov :

I didn't want this to be simply another meaningless kiss, so I told Hope, I liked her. Hope smiles and says, "I like you too, Josie." I grin from ear to ear. "What are we supposed to do now?" Hope confronts me with a question. "Could we perhaps start with the talking stage?" I tell Hope, "Let's get to know each other better." "Yea?" Hope asks to me. "Yes," I respond to Hope. We return to the film, which is around 30 minutes into it.

"Are you happy that we won?" I inquire of Hope. "Yeah, Homecoming wasn't as bad as I thought it would be, maybe because you were there," she winks. "Wait, was that your first time attending Homecoming?" I'm taken aback. "Yeah, I don't really do dancing or anything that involves a lot of other people," Hope says not talking her eyes off the movie on her phone. "What time is it?" I inquire, looking at my phone to answer my own question. "Great, Homecoming isn't over yet," I think to myself, smiling.

"Hope, get out of the car," I say, and she looks at me as if I'm stupid. "It's raining outside," Hope says, as if the fact isn't obvious. "Just get out," I advise. "Is there something wrong?" She says, opening her door stepping out. I didn't answer her, I grabbed her phone, which was already connected to the car, and started playing Brother by Matt Corby with the volume turned all the way up. I got out as well. Leaving the door open to allow the song to escape. "What is this?" She ask as I walk over to Hope. "Our dance," i said, putting Hope's hands back where they had once been. We began to dance above the city in the rain.

N/ O POV:

* Back at the Dance*

Everyone began to leave, heading to the Wooden House in the Woods for the after party. Kaleb had forced one of the random phony paparazzi to set up shop. "I Know There's Going To Be," by Jamie xx, could be heard while walking in. Some Mystic Fall High School students were on their way as well. Their homecoming was the following week..

Lizzie takes out her phone and calls Josie's to check on her. Josie responded and agreed to come to the after party, which surprised Lizzie because she didn't have to beg. Lizzie is seated on Mg laps, alongside Santana and Brittany. Before getting up to dance with the couple, She kissed him. Kaleb walks in and asks Mg about his keys, suspecting that his car has been stolen.

Josie and Hope arrive shortly after. Hope grabs a drink for Josie. When Hope sees Kaleb, she throws his keys at him. Kaleb picked up his keys, puzzled, and then put two and two together, opening his mouth and pointing at Hope, saying, "You." Hope and Josie were dressed in their regular dry clothes. They had stopped at the school before they arrived at the party.

Everyone was relaxing, smoking and drinking. People were kissing in the corner. Josie noticed a drunk dirty Blonde head girl kissing a girl or possibly a long haired boy. She couldn't see their faces. Hope was having a good time playing ping pong with Ethan and Raf. She was a little tipsy. It felt safe to do so because Josie was there to confirm she'd take care of her.

Josie was conversing with Lizzie. Congratulating her sister on the start of her new relationship. Josie then approached and spoke with Maya. Hope saw them and became envious, approaching them and wrapping her arm around Josie's waist. "Hey, Maya," Hope exclaims drunkenly. "Hey Hope," Maya says as she walks away, looking at Hope's hand placement. "Jealous?" Josie looks at Hope. Hope kisses Josie on the cheek and says, "Just a little." Landon had sat through the entire thing.

Hope exited, leaving Josie on the balcony. Hope was going to the restroom while Lizzie was dancing with Mg. Everything went dark before Josie could figure out what was going on.

Lizzie Pov:

Dancing with Mg, Hope returns from the restroom to the balcony with Josie, or so I thought. "Hey, do you happen to know where Josie went?" Hope states. "No, she was on the balcony, but I didn't see her walk out." My arms drop from Mg's shoulders, I say.

I begin to feel nervous and scared as I sense the connection from Josie. "Lizzie, if you can hear me, please help me," she yells, as it sounds whispering in my ear. "Something is wrong," I say to Mg and looking at Hope worried. She searches for Landon after spotting him in a group of people laughing. She runs over there as I make my way there. Before I arrive, I hear Hope yell, "Where is she?" She expresses herself as demanding.

"I'm not sure what you're on about, Hope," Landon says. "Don't act stupid, where is Josie?" she yells. "I don't kn-" Before he can finish, Hope punches him in the head, knocking it clean off, leaving his body squirting blood and standing headless kneeling to the ground.

I run after her as she walks away, saying, "Don't worry, he'll come back alive." "Why did you do that Hope?" I say as Hope stops and walk back to me explaining to me what Landon once said that made him the prime suspect. Mg calms me down as I begin to have a panic attack. "We'll find her, Lizzie," Hope promises.

Mg goes to the location after Hope and I cast the locator spell, only to find a spinning ballerina music box on an abandoned park picnic table. Hope slams her fist on my desk, cursing herself for becoming intoxicated. "It's not your fault, Hope, you were having fun, we were all having fun," I say, caring. I'm not sure what's gotten into me, but it's got to be the drinks. "If I hadn't drank so much, I wouldn't have needed to pee, leaving Josie alone," she explains. Hope flies away.

"Great, I'm alone," I think to myself before getting another gut feeling and hearing Josie cry. Soon after, Hopes returns with Landon's head and body, waiting for him to reincarnate.

Soon his body turns to ashes, he then sits up. "You're going to clean all that shit up too" I snarl to Landon irritated. Hopes wastes no time, pulling him up by his ear in the air. "I'm going to give you one more chance to answer my questions." Hope says as he laughs making Hope more angrier. Before she could hurt him, I cast a spell making him choke. Hopes throw him down, ripping off his ear she was holding. "Oops sorry, you slipped" she laughs.

"Don't you think this is a lot of fun, Lizzie?" she continues to laugh. I began to laugh as I let go of the chokehold I had on him "Quite the joy, Hope" "Bird box, where is my sister" I say pulling his head back from his hair. I slam his head down as he spits at me, barely missing me. "What are you going to do kill me?" he historically laughs. Hopes says, twirling a gold arrow in her hands, "I just might." "However, where's the fun in that?" She says this and then asks a question. "I'm curious how it feels to have your heart ripped out?" She shrugs "How about you tell me" she says ripping his heart right out of his chest. Then proceeds to lick her hand.

"That was disgusting, I think I going to throw up" I say not being about to stomach it. After a while, Landon comes back once again leaving more ashes in my room. "Seriously?" I say to Landon.
"So?" Hope says pointing the gold arrow on his chest near his heart. "How was it?" She says grinning, definitely enjoying this too much.

"As much as I enjoy torturing you, I need real answers, so" she begins to gently insert the arrow into his chest. "Okay," he screams in agony."The necromancer, have her." Hopes pushes the arrow in a little more "Which is where?" He tells us. Hope then freezes him, dragging him alone for bait. "I understand that Josie is your only friend, but was all of that necessary? "You couldn't have just pulled out the gold arrow in the first place?" On the way there, I ask Hope, who frowns and says, "Yes, but what's the joy in that."
