After classes, Harry went out into the garden and saw Lilliana sitting down on a bench. He was slightly surprised that she actually came but shook the feeling off and went to sit next to her. Her onyx eyes seemed to glow with happiness as she saw him. 'Wow this is amazing. She truly seems like a nice person, and she's taking time out of her life to come talk to me'  Harry thought.

"Hi, Lilliana. How are you doing?" Harry asked her.

"Hi, Harry, I'm okay, how about yourself?"

"Oh, I think I'm getting a little better, thanks for asking" Harry replied.

"That's great. I'm really glad to hear that" Lilliana said, and Harry could see that she was being honest, he could see it in her eyes. "Well to continue with my story, I live with my father in Hogsmeade. It's a quite nice place, I love it there. My mother died because of an old curse. I didn't understand it back then since I was only a child, but I knew even at that time, that I would never see my Mommy again. Now I know that my father is my only living relative."

Lilliana and Harry continued talking, and before they knew it it was time for dinner. They walked back to the castle together, and as they entered the Great Hall, they went their separate ways to their House tables but vowed to meet again. Harry decided to sit by Neville and Dean. Dean kept talking about how horrible Malfoy was and how horrible their potion turned out. Neville then started talking about Herbology and all kinds of different plants. Harry merely listened and smiled at their conversations. Everyone could see that Harry was in a better mood.

After dinner, Harry went up on his way to the  Gryffindor common room. He stopped at the Fat Lady's portrait.

"Password?" The Fat Lady inquired, obviously grumpy that he woke her up.

"Flabbles" Harry replied and allowed himself to giggle at the new password as the portrait let him in. He went up to his dorm room and studied until he was too tired to stay up. He went to bed that night, feeling happy for the first time in months and fell into a deep sleep.

Harry woke up the next morning feeling refreshed. He had a restful night free of nightmares. It was a Saturday, so he let himself lay in bed for a couple of minutes before going down to breakfast. As he arrived in the Great Hall later, he noticed that Lilliana was missing from the Slytherin table. ' She must have already had breakfast'  Harry thought.

Later that day, he found Lilliana out in the garden again.

"Hi Harry, did you have a good night?" She asked.

"Yes, I actually had a quite pleasant night, for the first time in months" Harry smiled.

They continued talking until lunchtime and then went in for lunch.

For the next few weeks, they met every day out in the garden and discussed many things. Some of them were randoms, some serious. By the end of two weeks, they were very close. Harry told Lilliana some things that he never told anyone else, including his horrible life at the Dursleys'. Harry felt as though this was the strongest friendship he ever had. What took five years to grow between Ron, Hermione and himself took only a couple of weeks to grow between himself and Lilliana. Harry would have never imagined his life as it was a couple of months ago: Ron and Hermione dead, and himself having a Slytherin best friend.
