We decided after prom that we wanted to officially date. Our first real date was going to be a movie. I know that's not a good first date because it's supposed to be something to get to know each other. But we already know each other pretty well so we wanted something a bit more chill. We decided to go watch Spiderman no way home because apparently, we have both been big marvel fans since we were little.

Noah recalled how when he was younger his dad would always take him to see Marvel movies. It was their father-son thing to do. I could see as he was talking about it that it was clearly something he missed. His parents had gotten divorced a few years ago, and when his dad left he pretty much stopped talking to Noah at all. He only sent the occasional birthday card and Christmas card if Noah was lucky enough. Noah seemed to be ok with it all now but I could still see a sort of longing for his dad whenever he talked about him.

The movie was really fun, As a big Spiderman fan, especially the Tom Holland ones it was hard to watch he movie end how it did. That was the first date of many, every one just being so amazing. We did things like bowling and roller skating but my favorite dates were the nights spent at home. All the nights spent cuddling on his couch watching movies, or the afternoons spent in the kitchen. They were all just amazing.

How did I almost forget, one of the key moments of a relationship? Our first kiss, came bout a week after we had started dating. It was a Friday night and we wanted to go out. We went out to shady glen for milkshakes and fries and were going to go to Noah's house and watch a movie after.

We were walking out of shady glen about to get into Noah's car and I pointed out how pretty the moon and stars looked that night. The sky was so clear so it felt so open. He had mumbled something about the stars being beautiful but I wasn't fully sure what it was. But what I did know was that I don't think he was taking about the stars, because when I looked back at him he had clearly been staring at me for a while. For a couple of seconds, we just kind of stood there staring at each other lost in the moment. It was peaceful somehow, It was rather late probably around nine so the parking lot was pretty empty. We were just kind of standing there holding hands under the glow of the light in the parking lot, and suddenly it happened. He just kind of leaned in and we kissed. I can still remember the taste of his lips now, and the feel of them. They were so perfect, I can feel them fitting into mine perfectly. After that, we stood there for a few seconds both of us definitely blushing but both extremely happy. Then, we got into his car and drove home listening to our favorite songs and just being happy.
