It was put together fast, but Noah's parents wanted to have the funeral soon because it was becoming winter and they didn't want to have it snow and have to wait until spring. So the funeral happened pretty soon after he passed. He was buried in the cemetery in town. Noah's dad was there, and he and his mom seemed to get along well enough for the time being. Even though they had gotten divorced for something like this they needed each other. They had both lost a child so they were really the only ones who knew how the other was feeling.

It was truly a nice funeral. His mom spoke, of course, She talked about how she knew from when Noah was a kid how great a person he was going to be. Ever since he was little he had always been such a helpful and cheerful person.

I was lucky enough that his mom let me talk as well. I talked about the many things that he had helped me through. All the times of feeling insecure or showing up with coffee on those late nights he knew I was up studying. Or how he was so strong for me when he was in the hospital, trying to seem as happy as he could whenever I was there.

After a while, people started to leave unitl it ws just myself, Noah's parents, and my mom left. I asked if for a few minuets I coule have some personal time with him. I promised I would make it quick because I imagined his parents wanted some time as well.

I grabbed the flowers that I had brought that I watned to put with his grave. Purple and pink, of course, there wasn't any other color that would be fitting since those had always been our colors. I left the flowers and went back to the car so I could head home.
