From time to time you let Wanda read your mind. You've become comfortable enough for her to do it whenever she wanted to. You felt that you had nothing to hide from your girlfriend of one year and four months, so you let her have her fun.

One day while Wanda was reading your mind, you were just lying on the couch in the common area of the compound, flipping through the channels on the tv trying to find something to watch and you happened to sneeze, thrice. After that third sneeze, something felt... different. Wanda didn't stop reading your mind while you were sneezing and was still doing so.

You looked over to Wanda and she asked you a question, so you responded, "yeah, I think I'm okay." Her eyes widened at your response. "How- how did you hear that?" she asked. "What do you mean? You asked if I was okay and I gave you an answer." "Yes, but I- I didn't ask the question out loud."

Oh.

Oh.

"Y/n, can you hear what I'm thinking?" You nodded your head. "Were you reading my mind when I sneezed?" She nodded her head. Well, this should be interesting.

A few days have now passed since you and Wanda found out that somehow she had given some of her powers to you. You let the team know but were hesitant as you didn't want them to think that you'd be more useful now on field missions. You much preferred being safe at the compound, giving directions, downloading data, and such. Luckily, your fellow Avengers were understanding of this new power that you possessed and gave you and Wanda some time off to work on reversal, but to also allow you to get the hang of the magic, so it wouldn't interfere with any day-to-day activities.

Wanda started off simple. She knew you could read minds, but she wasn't sure how much of her power and what abilities had gotten passed over to you. She tried to get you to move a pen on the counter. After a surprisingly quick success, she then asked you to try sparking up some magic from your hands or at least your fingertips.

You focused. You focused so hard. Then, BAM! Chaos magic. In the palm of your hand.

You were so proud of yourself and Wanda was so proud of you too that she picked you up and spun you around, in the air. You hadn't realized that you propelled yourself, along with Wanda, above the ground now flying, or maybe floating, solely with the magic she gave you. You were so amazed and excited that you almost lost your control and fell, but Wanda caught you. You wrapped your arms around her neck and kissed her sweetly. You carefully lowered the two of you back onto the floor and Wanda thought, "That was probably the most magical kiss I've ever had." "I'd have to agree, darling." You chuckle. "Oh my gosh, I keep forgetting you can hear my thoughts too." You both laugh together and kiss once more, smiling into it, unable to contain your love for Wanda and your joy for this power.

A month has now passed and you could say that you've practically learned everything that Wanda knows how to do. You can make chaos balls, you can read the minds of anyone you please, you can move objects with the flick of your wrist, that one you've had a lot of fun with by moving Steve's coffee mug every time he tried to grab it from the coffee table, and you can literally fly. All of those abilities are cool, but your favourite is how having this magic has brought you and Wanda closer together. The team stopped looking and thinking of ways to remove the magic from you as you all collectively decided that you should keep it.

You decide to head to the kitchen to grab a snack. You open the cupboards, the fridge, the freezer, and the cupboards once more. "There are no good snacks here to eat! Ugh! I could really go for some pop-tarts right now," you say as you aggressively shake your hands. Suddenly, red wisps spark from them and you somehow now have pop-tarts in your hand.

"Did you just... create those... out of thin air?" Wanda asks as she walks into the kitchen, astonished. "Uh, maybe? I-" "Oh great, pop-tarts! I thought we had run out. Thank you, y/n," Thor says as he takes the magical snack out of your hand. He takes a bite and you and Wanda stare at him, expecting something to potentially go wrong, but nothing does. He leaves the room as he munches away on your chaos magic pop-tarts.

"C-Can you do that, Wands?"
"I'm not sure, but I can give it a shot."
And so she does, well she tries to.
"I don't know what to magic up."
"Well, what do you want, my love? You must've come into the kitchen for some reason."
"Yeah, to find you."
"Awe." You blush. "Okay, but seriously, I wanna see you do the thing I just did!"
"Well, what exactly did you do?"
"Uhm, well, I wanted pop-tarts, said that I wanted pop-tarts, shook my hands in anger that there were no pop-tarts, then boom. Pop-tarts."
"Okay... so I should magic up something that I really want?"
"Or you could magic me up some pop-tarts since Thor stole mine."
"I guess it won't hurt to try."

She doesn't do exactly what you did. She's a lot more focused and calm. She moves her fingers, moving the magic between them and slowly, but surely, pop-tarts are forming in her hands and are eventually real. "Wands! You did it! Omg, did I just teach you something about your powers?" "Okay, don't get too cocky, darling. I'm sure there's a lot more that neither of us knows about our power. Now go enjoy your pop-tarts." She pecks your lips as you take the snack out of her hands using your red wiggly woos.
