Loki woke up and began to sob uncontrollably. He kept repeating the same words, "This can't be true." As many times as he possibly could before someone could calm him down. Frigga walked into his healing room amongst all this and took her youngest sons hand. "Look at me." She said wiping the tears away from his face. He looked into her eyes and tried to contain his sobs. "This doesn't make you any lesser than anyone else. It just means the next nine months are going to be harder for you. We can figure this out." "But mother." "No buts, Loki. You put yourself into this situation, we can figure it out together." Loki sighed loudly rubbing his hands through his hair. "I'm sorry. I never should of took this upon myself." "You didn't my son. It just happened. There is nothing that you can do about it now." Loki said softly. "I can't get rid of it. It would hurt too much." Frigga nodded. "I knew you would say that. We can figure something out. We just need to do our best to keep Odin from finding out." Loki said to her. "Does Thor know?" Frigga looked at him. "He knows that something is wrong." "What am I going to tell him." He said almost on the verge of tears. Frigga sighed"You sure are a wave of emotions aren't you." Loki smiled "You know that I cannot help this." He placed a hand on his slightly bulging stomach. Frigga said to him "Just try to hide it as long as you can. If you have to tell him do so. It just won't work out for the babe in the end." Loki groaned. "Alright. I'll do my best." Frigga asked "Is something wrong?" "My back hurts something awful. Other than that I am fine. When can I get out of here?" "As soon as they clear you." Frigga stood up. "I have to go talk to your father. I will come back as soon as I can." Loki nodded in affirmation before leaning back into the pillow and falling asleep again. The next thing he knew, he woke up near afternoon when a healer was checking on him. "What is your name?" He asked her softly. She looked at him. "My name is Laura. I have been your healer since you got here." Loki nodded "It was good to meet you Laura. Do you know when I will get out of here?" "Not until tomorrow morning. So try to take it easy. There is not much you can do here anyway." Loki chuckled leaning back into his pillow. "Hey, um. Is there any chance that I could have an extra pillow for my back." Laura looked back at him and nodded. "Sure. If you have any other discomfort. You can just tell me." He nodded and leaned back against the other pillow that she gave him. Maybe it wouldn't be so bad after all.
