He was sitting in the bed writing his speech when he heard the door open. His mother was standing in the doorway. "Are you sure that you will most definitely 100% not go into labor on his wedding day?" He chuckled, "I can't promise anything. I cannot control what happens." He pointed at the stomach and sighed. "I don't control when it wants to be born." She sighed, "Could you maybe. Not do the speech to prevent it from happening." "I've already told him I would." "But the stress, may cause you to go into it." "I CANT NOT DO IT." "I know. Just don't stress over it. I'll sit in here while you write it." Frigga said, "Also, you aren't allowed to get out of bed unless you are using the bathroom or have help." "Are you serious???" He said. Frigga sighed and sat next to him. "I know, it hurts. I just don't want you to overdo it." Loki sighed and sat up slowly. "I need to pee." She helped him get up and get to the bathroom. "Just tell me when your done." After about 10 minutes, she helped him get back in bed. "Why do you treat me like this?" "Because I love you." She sat next to him and sighed, " Do you have anything written down?" "Honestly, no. My stomach hurts too bad to think." "Where?" "Lower back and my legs." Frigga sighed. "I'm going to go run a bath for you. Just get as much written as you can." Loki groaned placing the notebook beside his bed. He leaned back to try to get rid of pressure but to no avail. A sharp dull ache hit the lower part of his body, it felt like a pinch of pressure on his midsection. "Shit." He said aloud to himself. It released quickly and for the rest of the day it stayed oddly quiet down there. He got into the tub and laid in there for at least an hour before getting out and putting on the minimum amount of layers. Frigga helped him with his speech before she fell asleep in the chair next to him. He leaned back into the pillow and groaned. "Just wait a little bit longer." He said to himself rubbing the bump, just wait a little longer. His hand rested on it when he fell asleep.
