"Look at you, playing with your cards. Pathetic! We've got final exams coming up soon." Hermione scolded Ron as the four children were seated in the Great Hall.

"I'm ready!" Ron insisted. "Ask me any question."

"All right, what are the three most crucial ingredients in a Forgetfulness Potion?" Hermione quizzed him.

Ron stared blankly for a few seconds, before finally speaking. "I forgot." He admitted.

"I told you he'd forget, Hermione." Dayton said with a smirk.

"And what, may I ask, do you plan to do if this comes up in the final exam?" Hermione pressed Ron further.

"Copy off you?" Ron said, acting as though the question Hermione asked him was the stupidest thing ever.

"No, you won't!" The girl snapped in a stern voice. "Besides, according to Professor McGonagall we're to be given special quills bewitched with an anti-cheating spell."

Ron's eyes widened. "That's insulting! It's as if they don't trust us!"

Just then, Neville arrived at their table. He was hopping on his legs which were stuck together, much to the amusement of the other students.

"Leg-Locker Curse?" Ron asked.

"Malfoy." Harry responded.

Dayton sighed in irritation. "You seriously need to start standing up to people, Neville!" He said to the boy.

Neville was wobbling uncontrollably. "How? I can barely stand at all!" He retorted, and Dayton held up his hands in surrender.

Seamus jumped up, wand at the ready. "I'll do the counter-curse!" He said.

Neville shook his head vigorously. "No, that's all I need... you to set my bloody kneecaps on fire!"

Seamus slammed his wand down angrily. "I don't appreciate the insinuation, Longbottom. Besides, if anyone cares to notice, my eyebrows have completely grown back!"

With that, he stalked off, Dayton desperately trying to contain his laughter after noticing that a large chunk of Seamus' hair on the back of his head was missing.

"I found him!" Harry said suddenly, handing Ron a Chocolate Frog card of Dumbledore.

"'Dumbledore is particularly famous for his defeat of the Dark Wizard Grindelwald in 1945, for his discovery of the 12 uses of Dragon Blood, and his work on alchemy with his partner Nicholas Flamel'!" Ron read aloud.

Dayton slapped the table in realisation. "I knew the name sounded familiar! Harry and I read it on the train that day!"

Hermione, beaming excitedly, stood up. "Follow me!" She ordered, and the four students rushed off.

"Hey, wait, where are you going?" Poor Neville was still flailing around. "What about the counter-curse?!"

Before the boy could say any more, he lost his balance and toppled over backwards.

In the library, Harry, Dayton and Ron were seated, reading until Hermione came with a huge book in her arms.

"I had you looking in the wrong section! How could I be so stupid?" She chided herself.

Hermione dropped the book on the wooden table with a loud bang, making Harry, Ron and Dayton all jump. "I checked this out a few weeks ago for a bit of light reading." She explained as she opened the book and started flipping through it to find a specific section.

Ron's eyes roved between the enormous book and the bushy-haired girl. "This is light?" He asked incredulously.

Hermione glared at him before she found what she was looking for. "Of course! Here it is!"
