Day 2! Still going strong!

I aged Clint down a bit so he's only like 24 while Pietro is 19 (aged up) because that's a lot better than 16 and near-40 lmaoo.

Pietro survives the attack and Clint isnt married AU

Everything Pietro ever did to help something. Everyone he ever saved or helped. Everything he ever felt.

All of it went into his journal.

It was a small, navy blue book that had no cover. Wanda had got it for him when they were 16. She'd found it in a back alley, somehow in good shape, and brought it to him.

He was 19 now, and he still had it. Somehow, he hadn't run out if pages yet, but it was getting close.

It's been four weeks since the attack, and Pietro had grown closer to a certain avenger, somehow managing to gain feelings for the man after they'd saved each other numerous times.

He'd written about them a few times, needing to get then out somehow. He  couldn't tell Wanda, she'd get protective, and he definitely couldn't tell any of the other avengers. They'd all either tell Clint or make fun of him.

The only thing that really bothered Pietro about his crush was the age difference. There were 5 years between the two, which wasn't bad, but it sounds worse when its worded as '19 and 24'.

One day, he'd left his journal on his bedside table, rather than hidden in a drawer. Pietro had gone on a run, a bit later than he usually did, and Clint was looking for him.

The older male noticed the book, and as usual, curiosity got the best of him.

He walked over and grabbed the book off of the nightstand, glancing around the room before opening the book.

Clint skipped around the book, most of the details being things he already knew about the boy. It was the love confessions that caught him off guard.

At first, the confessions didn't mention any names, just sticking to pronouns. However, as Clint got to the more recent entries, the clues became more and more obvious until eventually Pietro had just started using Clint's name.

After a few more pages, Clint set the book back in its place and went to walk out. As he reached the doorway, he bumped into an out-of-breath Pietro.

The younger boy groaned, looking up to see who he'd hit. He paused as he realized that it was Clint, "..Hey Birdbrain, what are you doing in my room?"

"I was actually looking for you. Cmere." Clint grabbed his hands and started to lead him into the room, shutting the door with his foot.

Pietro, confused, followed Clint until he noticed his journal on the nightstand. His eyes went wide, knowing how nosey Clint could be.

Clint watched Pietro's face go red as the boy realized why he was there. He chuckled quietly as the taller male processed everything.

The boy stumbled over his words, trying to form some sort of excuse for what he'd written. This only fueled Clint's amusement.

Pietro lowered his head, not noticing Clint moving closer to him until he'd been pulled into a hug. He tilted his head, looking down at Clint.

Clint, who was already looking up at him, blinked, "You really mean that stuff, kid?"

The younger male only nodded, now avoiding eye contact. Clint only chuckled again, leaning over to kiss the male.

Pietro only froze, his face going red again. He stayed still, watching as Clint pulled away from him.

Pietro let out a shaky breath, leaning in and pulling Clint into another kiss.

And his privacy being invaded was nearly worth it.
