Error's POV
We arrived at Ink's house. I have to say, it was quite small, but just enough for him and maybe two or three guests. He made his way to the kitchen, stopping mid way as he turned to me and asked if I wanted anything.I simply stared at him. He stared back.
He finally understood, face-palming himself as he giggled and continued into the kitchen. I smiled as I watched him, his laughter was contagious. I couldn't help but smile after hearing it. I followed him to the kitchen, sitting (pretty much floating over) a barstool. It wasn't an alcoholic bar or anything, just a simple island in the kitchen with barstools. He made himself a small cup of water, grabbing it and sitting next to me. He made conversation, asking me what it was like to be a ghost. "Oh, I don't know. It's a bit weird, not eating or drinking anything. But I got used to it shortly after my death anyways" I responded with a shrug. I really didn't know how to respond to that. It's like me asking him "What's it like being human?". Yeah, doesn't make sense, does it?
Ink giggled quietly before he just slowly went quiet, placing his head down on the table. I wonder if everything's okay "You alright, Ink?" I asked, attempting to put my hand on his back. It worked, surprisingly, and I didn't phase through. He sighed "I'm just trying to think of a way to bring you back.." I frowned as I listened, leaning down to look at him directly "Ink, you don't have to bring me back.. I wasn't even popular or anything anyways, it's not a big deal.." he quickly sat up "It is a big deal!" He said as I pulled my hand away "It's a big deal to Fresh and Geno! To me! We might've only met a couple days ago, but you mean a lot to me! And if I can bring you back, I will!"
..........
He really was determined, wasn't he?
I sighed
He gasped "I have an idea" he said as he pulled his phone out, quickly searching through his contacts. He found it, dialing the number as he held it up to his ear. Later on, the person on the other line answered
"Hey Sci!"
"I need your help. It's with bringing someone back from the dead'
"What do you mean? I've seen you do it before, don't lie to me!"
'That's what I thought! I'll be there tomorrow, with the ghost! Thank you!" And he hung up
"Who was that?" I asked, looking at him. I was curious, this was the person who was going to 'bring me back', I wanted to know who it was. "That was Science! Or Sci, he's gonna bring you back to life!" I tilted my head "You mean that really smart kid that took over for the nurse that one day? He didn't like me too much" I shrugged "Well, he's gonna like you now. He doesn't have a cho-". He got cut off as he looked to his front door, hearing the ring of the doorbell as it rung throughout the house. "Are you expecting visitors?" I asked as he shook his head, making his way to the door. He opened it, quickly getting tackle-hugged by someone. It was a short, young male. He wore a blue scarf around his neck, along with an outfit made to look more like a knights armor. A giggle sounded from outside as a taller male walked in, dressed in a yellow cape and yellow and blue outfit. "Blue, leave poor Ink alone-" Even his voice was high pitched. Ew. I groaned "These guys are annoying." Ink successfully got up and looked at me "Don't be rude!"
The short one, who I assumed was Blue, looked confused "Who?" Ink turned to look at him "Some ghost I became friends with at school" He said with a small blush. Why did he get embarrassed about that? Why did I not like that title of friends? I sighed, floating over closer. Ink smiled at me "Hi Error!" I smiled back and waved. "Error, wasn't that Geno's brother?" The yellow one, I think I heard the name Dream associated with him, said. Ink nodded "I always wondered what he looked like. Everyone always said he looked like a 'one of a kind' and looked 'strange', but I never saw him" Ink shrugged "I can only see that he's there, not what he looks like"
I looked down at Ink. I thought he knew exactly what I looked like? "You can't see me?" He shook his head "I can see you, but your face is covered in glitches, which hides your facial features and what you look like. I think it's with how you died. Do you have a picture of you I can see and show them?" I nodded, reaching into my pocket. I pulled out a picture of me and my brothers that we had taken about a month before the accident. I dropped it, knowing it'd phase into reality. It fell to the floor as Ink bent down to grab it. He stared at it for quite a while before handing it to Blue and Dream, looking away as his face grew red. I chuckled quietly, that's an interesting reaction? The other two looked at it "Awe, he looks cute!" Blue mentioned, pulling the photo closer to see details
I didn't think I was that interesting, but alright-
Dream looked up at Ink and grinned "Ooh, Ink? Do you happen to li-" "SHHH-" Ink interrupted him, placing a finger over his mouth. Well then. I asked for the photo back and Ink snatched it from Blue, handing it to me. I thanked him, putting it back in my pocket carefully.
This would be a long day
