Error's POV
Today was the day.Today was my appointment with the man who would help bring me back. Bring me back to my brothers. To Ink.
Anyways, at the moment, Ink was driving us to this so called "doctors" lab, otherwise just known as his house. He had basically made his house into a laboratory. I guess he really is committed, huh? Alright, back on topic here. We were pretty close from what I could gather, and by gather, I mean asking Ink every five minutes how close we were. He got annoyed pretty quickly. I sighed "I'm sorry for asking so much.." he smiled and shook his head, sparing me a glance before looking back at the road. "It's alright, Error. You're excited for today, I get it. You've been excited for today ever since I reminded you last week about it-" he explained with a chuckle. I smiled, looking back out the window. The abilities this man had. The ability to make me feel better about myself, no matter how bad I felt.
God, my plan after today would feel so good to finally do.
We eventually arrived, though I only knew by him pulling into a driveway "Is this it?" He nodded to my question "Yep, this is Sci's place!" He said happily, getting out of the car. I followed after, continuing to follow him as he made his way to the door, gently knocking once he got close enough. We could hear quite a bit of ruckus from someone inside, who I could only guess was this 'Sci' guy. He came to the door shortly afterwards, opening it as he smiled upon seeing Ink. He was quite short, only coming to Ink's shoulder or so. He was dressed in a white lab coat with black under clothes, along with some glasses he wore. He waved gently "O-Oh, hello Ink! I s-suppose you have your f-friend with you?" He had quite a stutter, but Ink seemed used to it and so did he. I couldn't tell if the stutter was natural or nervousness, but I could only guess it to be natural due to them both being used to it. Ink nodded "Yeah, he's right here" he said, looking in my direction "Error!" He called, pulling my out of my thoughts. I looked over at him, walking closer to be beside him. Ink looked back at Sci, pointing his thumb towards me "Here he is"
Sci looked at me and waved with a smile, though I could tell he couldn't see me. He sighed, looking back at Ink "Please, come in. We need to find a way for me to be able to see him, and I think I have an idea. Is there anything odd about the way you see or hear him?" He asked as he waved us inside and started walking, both of us following behind him "Uh, his face is glitched out. I can't see any of his facial features, and the colors are kinda distorted. Like, not vibrant. There's nothing wrong with the way I hear him though" Ink explained, getting a nod in response from Sci. He led us to his living room, which was also shared with a small kitchen "P-Please, sit. Make yourselves comfortable. H-have you eaten anything, E-Error? I'm guessing you c-can eat, anyways-" he said with a nervous chuckle "I can. I had something a couple hours ago." Ink nodded, responding for me "He said yeah. He ate a couple hours ago" Sci nodded once more "A-Alright, please wait. I-I'll be back shortly" he said before quickly walking off.
Ink sat down on one of the couches, as I sat next to him with a long sigh. He looked over at me, leaning on me " I hope he can bring you back.." he said quietly, leaning more into my shoulder. I looked down at him, smiling gently "It's okay, Ink. I'm sure he can" I responded, trying to reassure him the best I could. We stopped as we heard Sci walking in. He had a tank, what the hell was he gonna do with that? Put me in it? He looked back at us and smiled "A-Alright, Error? Can you g-get in this? It's just gonna give me a b-better view of y-you and what you l-look like" he explained as I nodded, walking over to the tank. I went through the wall of it, placing myself inside. I looked down at Sci and Ink as their faces both grew into ones of shock and intrigue. Ink got up and walked over to the tank, placing his hand on the wall "That's what you look like..?" He asked as I placed my hand against his from the other side. I was guessing he could see me without the glitches now, since he was in shock like that. I nodded slowly, what if he didn't like the way I looked?
Sci started typing some things up on his computer, looking up at me every now and then. He looked up at me, keeping his view on me "W-Who did he say his brothers were again?" I could only guess he was trying to find my records "Fresh and Geno CQ" I responded, looking over at him. He nodded, going back to typing. I looked back at Ink, he was in more shock than before "What..?" I asked, scared to see what was shocking him "That's not the voice I heard.." Sci immediately looked up at Ink "How did you h-hear him?" Ink looked at him before looking back at me "Kinda glitched.. and distorted.. but I thought that was his normal voice.." Sci nodded, typing again. He typed for some time before he eventually finished "Error CQ, d-deceased, aged 16, cause of death: u-unknown.." he read, pretty much just reading to himself. I nodded "That's me"
No One's POV
Sci sighed, standing up and walking over to the tank "Alright. So, l-listen to me carefully. In order to b-bring you back, you're gonna h-have to stay in this t-tank. It'll take a day or two, but you'll be u-unresponsive for the entire t-time. Ink, you're welcome to s-stay here with him if you'd like, I k-know how you get about being s-separated from certain people" he explained, looking at them both as he spoke. He looked at Error "I need y-your consent before I c-continue though" It was quiet for a moment after that before Error sighed."Let's do it."
