I walk over to Alexa's house and ring the doorbell.

"Why hello my lovely friend.  How is thee?" Alexa says, answering the door and motioning for me to get in.

"I am just fine. Thank you. How about the fair maiden?"

"The fair maiden is just fine.  Thank you.  But enough with this old stuff, let's start with the new.  Like the boys at the pool.  Did you see them on the way over?"

"Sorry Alexa, I didn't.  I was too busy focusing on the road!"

"Right.  We wouldn't want you to get into an accident or anything."

We walk to her living room and sitting there is her brother, Lucas.

"Lucas." I say menacingly.

"She devil." he replies back.

Lucas and I have never been friends.  We've hated each other's guts since Alexa and I have been friends.  I'm glad I don't have a twin.

"Come on.  Let's go upstairs." Alexa says.

Alexa drags me up the stairs to her room and opens the balcony door.  Did I mention that her family is rich?  Anyway, her balcony has the perfect view of the pool.

"See that?" she says, pointing to this familiar looking guy.

"I guess."

"He's the hottest one there. Let's go."

So we got ready to go the pool and head out.  As soon as we come closer to the pool, I realize the reason why he looks familiar.  He's the guy I bumped into in the hall.

"Can we go back?" I ask frantically.

"Why? We just got here. Plus I haven't had a chance to socialize."

"Fine.  I'll go back alone." I say adamantly.

"I. Don't. Care." she answers, chuckling because she knows she has one this battle.

But I will win this war.

"Hey." the guy says.

I don't reply, hoping he isn't talking to me. But he is because he taps my shoulder.

"Excuse me but aren't you the girl who bumped into me in the hallway?"

"Yes." I mumble, turning around, "And I said I'm sorry."

"And I said that it was all right.  When did you move here?"

"I didn't.  I'm just staying the night at my friend's house." I say, turning around to point at Alexa but she is already in the pool, "Well, I'm supposed to be."

"I see. Well I'll guess I'll see you around then."

"Wait, what's your name?"

"Now what fun would that be if I told you?"
