Wedding Ruined

"I do!" Elaine said and all the people cheered.

Feast started and everyone was getting drunk, the couple was finally married! Things were perfect, Elaine was feeling happy and safe after centuries but who knew her happiness wouldn't last longer. The couple was about to kiss as per the tradition but-

"Frost Giants!" Odin said.

"What?" Elaine asked.

"Stay here!" Loki said and he, his brother and Odin left the hall.

"What happened?" Elaine asked Frigga.

"Frost Giants have attacked us" Frigga explained.

They all waited for an hour till Odin and his sons came back "I am sorry but the feast is over" he said and left.

'How can he do that?' Elaine thought, she went to her room.

"How can they enter Asgard? Heimdall was there on the gates, right? It can't happen-if someone from inside help them!" Elaine said as Loki came inside.

"Yes" he sighed.

"Did-did you?" she asked "No, you wouldn't" 

"I actually did that, I wanted to ruin Thor's coronation, the hidden passage was supposed to open at his coronation, I must've read the wrong spell" he said "I am sorry, I didn't wanted to ruin our day"

"I-It's ok, you apologised" she said "I think I should change"

"Did you hear that?" Elaine asked Loki as she came out of the bathroom.

"Wh- Oh no, he is drunk and destroying things again!" Loki as they both rushed to the hall.

"HOW DARE THEY ENTER MY KINGDOM! HOW DARE THEY COME IN MY PALACE!" Thor yelled as he destroyed things.

"Calm down" 

"I AM NOT CALMING DOWN!"

Thor finally sat beside a pillars still mumbling in anger, his brother sat beside him, trying to calm him down, Elaine, The Warriors Three and Lady Sif were about to leave when Thor stood up.

"It is madness!" Loki said as he stopped Thor.

"Madness? What sort of madness?" asked Elaine.

"We are going to Jotunheim!" Thor said.

"That is absolutely rubbish! We can't go there" Elaine mumbled.

"Yes, she is right" Fandral said.

"Did you forget what I did for you, Fandral?" asked Thor "Who let you fight in great battles, Hogun?

"You did!"

"Who provided you feasts that made you feel, you died and are in Valhalla?"

You did"

"Ok, Ok! But it doesn't mean we are going to attack there!" Elaine said.

"If you don't wanna fight, you can stay here, princess" Thor sassed.

"You haven't seen me fighting, prince. I'd love to show you!" Elaine glared, when it came to her self respect, she didn't care who she was standing in front of.

The group traveled towards the bifrost bridge and sought Heimdall's permission for passage to Jotunheim. Ignoring Loki's attempts to talk his way past him, Heimdall did still grant Thor's request, noting that throughout all his years as guardian this was the first time an enemy had gotten past his watch. Heimdall then sent them to Jotunheim, but warned that if they all got into trouble, they would not be granted entrance back home and would all be left to die there. Once all arrived, they walked towards the King's chamber, Elaine conjured a white crystal staff for her safety.

"Can you please dim the light of your staff?" Hogun said.

Elaine's staff changed to a black one "What? Absence of light is darkness"

"I am Thor Odinson!" Thor said as he entered the chamber.

"We know you!" Laufey coldly said.

"How did your people get into Asgard?" Thor asked.

"The House of Odin is full of traitors" scoffed Laufey.

"Do not dishonor my father's name with your lies!" yelled Thor.

"Your father is a murderer and a thief! Why have you come here? To make peace? You long for battle. You crave it. You're nothing but a boy, trying to prove himself a man" smirked Laufey, some frost giants started to surround them.

"This 'boy' has grown tired of your mockery" Thor roared.

One of the giants approached Thor before Loki led him away, noting that they were outnumbered by their enemies and it would be unwise to begin a conflict, much to Thor's great annoyance. Thor remained silent as he walked away from Laufey until a Frost Giant called Thor something he shouldn't.

"Run home, Princess"

"Damn!" Loki cursed under his breath. 

Thor unleashed his anger and with the mighty power of his hammer hit the Frost Giant so hard he flew across the wasteland. Having begun the skirmish, the warriors then bravely joined Thor and battled the Frost Giants. Thor took great pleasure in fighting all his enemies, throwing Mjolnir at the giant who called him princess and others while demanding more of a challenge. While Thor was enjoying himself, Fandral was struck by a Frost Giant and warned Thor to pull back while they had some chance.

Elaine didn't enjoy the fight much as she easily defeated many with her staff, a giant came to her and she pushed him with her staff but he caught it and threw it behind him, Elaine conjured a dagger of bright light and threw it to him, distracted by the flash, the giant walked backward but slipped on Elaine's staff and fell on the ground.

"You are a good fighter, you fight like a man" he said.

Elaine made a sword and stabbed him "No, I fight better!"

Thor told his friends and the couple to leave while he battled the Frost Giants alone. As his friends left and reached the bifrost bridge, Thor unleashed the full power of Mjolnir and erupted the ground around him killing hundreds of the frost giants, before flying at full speed to kill the frost beast that was chasing the group. Laufey and his whole army then surrounded Thor and his friends, who were driven back to the edge of a cliff, seemingly defenseless against the army. 

"Does anyone want to confess anything before we die?" asked Volstagg.

"I am not dying today" Elaine said.

Before the giants attacked, Odin then arrived while riding Sleipnir. Thor attempted to convince his father to join him in the battle only to be told to remain silent. Odin then warned King Laufey by telling him to preserve the peace and not respond to the actions of a boy. Laufey said that war had now already begun between them, and Odin then transported himself and the others  back home, furious at Thor for his actions and the consequences.
