To Elaine's surprise, she enjoyed Sakaar. Loki did too but a part of him was missing Thor, wondering what had happen to him. The guards let the couple to their new room, it was a big room, it had mirrors, lights, a few plants, a cozy sofa and ONE bed. The guards left and Elaine spoke-
"I'll sleep on the-"
"No need. I'll sleep on the sofa, you can have the bed." Loki interrupted.
"I was saying the same thing." Elaine said.
"He invited us to some championship, so we have to find presentable clothes." he put aside the cushions on the sofa to make him room.
"There's a market, we can go there." she said.
"Yeah, right." he agreed and laid on the sofa with his eyes close. "Wake me in an hour."
Not knowing what to do Elaine decided to check the bathroom, it was small but had a nice bathtub. She wanted a hot bath but she had no clothes, her stomach was empty too, she didn't have her breakfast. She came out of the bathroom and walked to Loki sleeping. She looked at him, she wanted him to wake up but she didn't want to talk to him or even touch him. Maybe her wish was strong because Loki himself woke up.
He growled as his eyes opened, "What? Never saw a gorgeous man sleeping?"
"I am hungry." Elaine folded her arms.
"For me? I know." He smirked.
"Are you coming to the market or not?" She asked seriously.
"Yes, I am coming." He sighed and followed her outside.
Arriving at the market, there were various types of food. Fruits, breads, curries, and canned items too. They decided to eat first, they tried the Sakaarian fruit, it was a palm sized pink fruit, almost looking like a melon but it tasted like a banana.
"I don't like this." Elaine commented as she subconsciously handed Loki the fruit she took a bite off.
"I guess I'll finish it." He shrugged and took a bite of the fruit, it tasted bad. "Not bad!" He lied.
Elaine rolled her eyes and tried more food till her appetite was full. Loki on the other hand ate her leftovers. They bought few casual Sakaarian clothes as the shopkeeper suggested and came back to the palace.

The championship was boring as the fight ended early. Then came the dance which the couple didn't enjoy much. The music was extremely loud and Elaine needed a break, she had been living in a quiet and secluded area for area for years and it was her habit to stay in silence.
"Why do they even call this a party?" She complaint and entered their room.
"There's music, food, fight and food-fight, every reason to call it a party." Loki said. Trying his best to start a conversation with her, he failed terribly everytime. "Uh- Goodnight!" He said but noticed Elaine already in bed with Midgardian clothes. "No luck." He changed his clothes and slept on the sofa.
In the middle of the night it was cold. Elaine's eyes opened, she was cold and the blanket wasn't warm enough. She got off the bed to grab more blankets but saw Loki sweating.
"Hey! You ok?" Elaine asked. "Loki!" She called his name. She sprinted to him and knelt down to reach his level. "Hey! Get up! It's just a nightmare!" She slowly shook him.
Loki instantaneously woke up, not realising it's Elaine, he tackled her down and formed a dagger. She locked her legs around his waist and flipped him, she sat on the top.
"It's me! Elaine, your wife!" She slowly took away the dagger and threw it away.
"Oh! I am sorry!" He saw her face. "Well, at least you accept me as your husband." He lightly smiled.
Elaine got off him, she fixed her clothes. "You've been having nightmares? Since when?"
Loki trembled, he rubbed the back of his neck. "A few days after you left me." He stared the floor.
Elaine looked at him trying not to show concern. She hesitated to say anything but spoke, "Well, don't just stand there. You can sleep on the bed with me." She said.
"Thanks, love." He smiled.
"Don't think of taking advantage. Know your limit." She warned.
"Won't even try." He shrugged and joined.
They both lied together facing the opposite direction. Neither were sleeping but thinking of eachother. Elaine thought to say something but her mind stopped her. Loki had the same thought so he started.
"That day when I faked my-death. Some part of my brain told me to tell you but maybe I was too busy scheming to annoy you. I know it sounds foolish. Just forgive me if you are listing, Elaine."
Elaine shut her eyes taking a deep breath, she got up to look at him. She found him already sitting. "There hasn't been a day or a night where I don't think of you. Maybe I overreacted."
"No, you didn't. I was the one responsible." Loki said.
"Told you I am never wrong." smiled Elaine.
"Yeah!" he chuckled.
"I am not joking. I am serious!" she said.
He chuckled and smiled as he looked at her, "I missed you everyday. I am so glad to have you back."
"So do I." she cupped his cheek, "So do I."
