"I don't know, Thor. Try understanding the meaning of the words?" Loki sassed.
Five years passed, Elaine decided to live in Drammen, Norway, a little village where she was away from the angry Midgardians, she worried about. While, fighting with Surtur, Thor found out about Odin not being in Asgard which raised his suspicions on Loki being alive. He decided to check out himself and visited his home, Asgard. He got to know that Heimdall was wanted for his treason and the new gatekeeper, Skurg.
To know if Odin he was talking to is really him, Thor decided to test him by holding his neck from the back and summoning Mjolnir. After Loki revealed himself to be Odin in disguise and Odin being on Midgard, the brothers visited New York but Odin was missing. Doctor Strange helped them reach their destination, opening a portal in Norway, Strange informed them of Elaine being in the same place.
"But how did you separate? You both were inseparable!" Thor asked, standing in front of a cottage.
"Things happen, Thor." Loki sighed. They heard the door of the cottage opening and noticed a child around five coming out of the cottage, following the child they saw a lady dressed in Midgardian clothes come out.

"Elaine?" Thor was curious to see Elaine in Midgardian clothes. "You cut your hair?"
"You should try it too." Elaine rolled her eyes, "Why is he here?"
"We've come to take you back." Loki said, he noticed the five year old child, "I am sorry but this question is just raising up in my mind. Is this our child?"
"Fortunately no, he is the son of the mayor." Elaine said, "Axel, go home." the child left and she continued, "I told you and I am going to repeat it one last time, I am not going back."
"Please try to understand, we are here to find father and take you back." Thor tried to convince her.
"If you are trying to make a family, Thor, know that this family is cursed. Don't waste your energy on me." Elaine said casually.
"At least help us find out, Doctor Strange, well he is-"
"You met Stephen?" she hid chuckle, "Good."
"I thought his first name is Doctor." Thor wondered.
"Don't be silly, Thor!" Loki and Elaine said in unison, after realising they looked at each other.
"Odin is here, we know it. Help us find him and I promise we won't trouble you ever again." Loki pleaded.
"Don't make promises you can't keep." Elaine said going back to the cottage.
"Those are the best kind!" she turned back smirking. "Where do we start?"
"I know places." she said.

"How are you so sure?" Thor asked, they were headed to a cliff side. "Why would father go to a cliff side?"
"It was the first place I visited. It has an energy which just attracts people like us, the natives worship there." Elaine explained, "And according to the information you have, the old age home was destroyed a three days ago so he must be here by now."
"So, why did you choose this place?" Loki attempted to talk to her.
"I don't want to talk to you." Elaine said calmly. He failed. After walking further, the trio arrived at the cliff side. "Here you go." she pointed at Odin.
"Father!" Thor said, he turned to Elaine. "Thank you, we both owe you."
"I take my leave." Elaine said leaving.
"Please meet him." Thor requested.
"We are never on the same page, it's better he doesn't see me." Elaine denied.
"I already saw you." Odin spoke, he was sitting on a rock wearing Midgardian clothes. "Look at this place, it is beautiful!" he continued, not turning back.
"Father, it is us." Thor said walking to him, Elaine heavily exhaled and followed him.
"My sons, Princess Elaine I have been waiting for you." Odin said.
Loki being surprised by Odin calling him 'son' looked at Elaine and noticed her already looking him, she looked away.
"I know, we've come to take you home." Thor said.
"Home, yes. Your mother, she calls me. Do you hear it?" Odin asked.
Thor looked at Loki, "Loki, lift your magic." he ordered.
"Took me quite while to break free from your spell. Frigga would have been proud." Odin continued, "Come sit with me, I don't have much time." he said to Loki.
"I know we failed you but we can make this right." Thor spoke up.
"No, I failed you. Everyday, after what Elaine said to me about failing you both I thought 'Was I really a bad person?' and I couldn't think of an answer but today as I am dying, it finally hit me. I asked myself again, 'Was I a bad 'father'?' and the answer is yes. It is upon us. Ragnarok." Odin said.
"I've stopped it. I put an end to Surtur." Thor assured.
"No, it has already begun. She's coming. My life was all that held her back. But my time has come. I can't keep her away any longer." Odin explained.
"Father, who are you talking about?" Thor asked.
"Hela, Goddess of Death. My firstborn. Your sister." Odin replied.
He explained Hela was imprisoned within Hel for thousands of years due to her violent needs. While Odin considered this shocking news, Odin told Loki and Thor that he loved them both as his body dissipated into energy and was taken away by the wind.
Having witnessed the death of his father and having learned Odin's secrets regarding Hela, Thor's grief and anger caused storm clouds to gather above. "This is your fault!" he furiously claimed it to be Loki's fault.
"Don't you spill blood here-wait, actually, go ahead." Elaine walked away from them but a portal formed and she stopped.
"So he's gone. That's a shame. I would've liked to see that." Hela smirked.
