it's been two days since Luke jumped.
two days since I lost my best friend.
two days of pain.
two days of pure torture.
I say on the floor resting my back against my bed, bringing the blade slowly to my wrist and taking a deep breath.
I'll end it soon, Luke.
"Kaelin!" my sister called from downstairs, just after the blade sliced through the skin on my wrist, "Michael's here for you!"
"okay." I yelled back down grabbing a Kleenex and carefully wiping my wrist, and slowly wrapping it with a bandage, just before Michael burst into my room.
"it's Ashton." he was panting, "he-he tried."
"are you serious?" He nodded.
"oh my god."
I grabbed my shoes and coat and we rushed to the hospital, my arm still aching, and I assume bleeding.

on our way to the hospital I forgot that I hadn't told my mom where I was going.
where did you go??
she texted me.
Ashton tried, mom.
Me and Michael are going to the hospital right now.
I couldn't loose Ashton too.
not after Luke.

I ran straight through the doors and into the waiting area.
I ran up to the desk, where an old lady was sitting.
she looked like she was just about to fall asleep.
"do you know where Ashton is?" I asked her, "Ashton Irwin?"
"he's in surgery right now, hun. He's lost a lot of blood and he needed a transfusion."
"oh god." I felt light headed, "Michael."
my eyes shut and I fell.

"Kaelin?" I heard Luke's voice, "Kaelin. Wake up."
my eyes fluttered open.
everything was glowing.
and Luke.
holy shit.
Luke.

"Kaelin." Michael shook me, "Kaelin, look at me."
"Michael. I saw Luke."
"Kaelin, it's just a dream, look at me." Michael said harshly.
I looked over to him, his blonde quiff glowing.
Luke?
"Kae." he said, using my nickname, "I'm not gone forever. I promise. I'll come back."
"Michael." I said sounding alarmed.
"Kae. You need to calm down."
"why?"
"for Luke's sake."
and everything went black.
again.

6:30 tonight, meet me in our favourite place.

Luke's voice rang through my head.
