'Hello, I'd like to register my sons quirk?' Inko said, Izuku in tow. The nurse looked skepticaly at Izuku. 'What is it, an aging quirk? Because he doesn't look 4 to me' Inkos eyes went wide. 'How dare you. For you information, his quirk required incredibly specific circumstances to emerge. Said circumstances only came to light a couple days ago.' She hissed at the nurse. Said nurse blushed. 'Apologies, I didn't realize that was possible...' Inko sighed. 'Please can we just have the paperwork?' The nurse nodded, and handed Inko a small wad of paper. 'Mom, you ok?' Inko nodded. 'Sorry honey, I hate when people just assume...' Izuku smiled, which made Inko feel better, before the two sat down and began going through the paperwork.

'God that paperwork's a pain' Inko sighed. Izuku nodded, having watched his mother go through the stack of paperwork. 'are we done now?' Inko nodded gleefully. she stood up and went to go hand the paperwork back to the receptionist. 'thank you miss, I don't think i have missed anything have i?' the receptionist shook her head. Inko looked the young woman dead in the eyes. 'and before you go reporting this to every known news reporter known to man, his body needed to be in a highly specific state before the quirk could emerge, ok? and this has been reported to have happened before, albeit mostly in America, but it happens, ok?' Inko hissed in the woman's ear. The receptionist nodded, fear evident in her eyes.

the two left the building, Inko letting out an exasperated sigh. 'You'd think that the plumbers would have their staff in places like that..' she muttered. Izuku looked at his mom in confusion, before deciding to ignore the statement. He thought about what had happened that day. It was confusing to say the least. To sum up the things he had learned that day;
1) aliens exist
2)his dad was one
3) he was half alien
4) he could turn into an alien
5) fire is calming
And 6) he can be a hero!

He smiled as he realized the last point. He could really be a hero now, and he wouldn't be a liability! He then realized... 'school' Inko looked at him confused. 'What was that?' 'What are we gonna tell the school'
'Oh... right' the two looked at each other, minds whirring. 'Late quirk?' Izuku nodded 'late quirk...'

The two walked home in silence, Izuku wondering how school was gonna be the next day, Inko oh so very happy that her son can finally achieve his dreams and she doesn't have to worry about him getting too hurt.
Izuku noticed his mothers smile, and finally decided to ask the question. 'Mom, what was dad like?' Inko stopped walking. 'Well...' she sighed, as her brain flooded of memory's of her life with Hisashi. She started walking again. 'He was smart, he picked up Japanese almost immediately. He was handsome, in a strange... alien way' she chuckled. 'And he was a loving father for the short time he was around... he left when you were barely 2. I still don't know why, he said that he would return one day... I'm still waiting' she finished, a sad smile on her face. Izuku suddenly wrapped his mom in a hug. 'We can wait together mom.' Inko felt a tear forming and put her hand on her sons head. 'Yea... together.' She paused 'how about we put up some pictures of your father, for when he gets back?' Izuku grinned. 'Yea, that's a great idea!'

Several hours later, Izuku watched as Inko pulled out a small box full of photos he'd never seen before, including a Polaroid photo. 'A poleroid?' Inko smiled. 'It was his idea' she chuckled.

Izuku noticed that something was printed at the bottom. 'This was your first date?' Inko nodded. 'It was our first proper date, we decided to go for a walk along the beach. He got a passerby to take the photo and edited it to look like a Polaroid. He worked on it for an age, couldnt figure out the editing app he used, then forgot where the text button was' she said fondly 'He promised it would be worth it, and it was' she looked at the photo with a smile, before handing it to Izuku. He stared at the photo. 'So that's what dad looked like...' Inko looked at her son, who was still staring at the photo. 'Cmon, lets put these up.'

AN- I drew that... the first date photo. Took me a good while, and I decided to give him these sort of bunny ears? Idk. While looking for a reference I saw the face pattern (idk whatever to call it) varied depending on the pyronite, so thought why not. I did use one of the Ibis paint X templates tho cus I suck at anatomy lol 😂

Also I need help in deciding who should get OFA, I don't think Izuku should get it, so who should?
A) a random character from class A/B
B) the tournament winner (to be decided)
