With Bakugo.
'You're all fine, kiddo, now get lost,' a nurse snapped, fed up with said teens' attitude. 'Just rest for the next few days, and TRY and avoid yelling, unless you want to end up back here. The boy scoffed. 'Yea yea fine 'he muttered, shoving his hands in his pockets and skulking off. "Wonder how the nerd is doing..."
With Izuku
'Hm... that's an issue' Inko looked at the sunken mark in the concrete a few feet away. 'I'm guessing you sat there for a bit?' Izuku nodded. 'I would meditate but I don't quite know how' Inko sighed. 'I'll call Hoshi, he might have a remedy' Izuku sighed and nodded.
He looked at the hero's around him. He would normally be going nuts asking questions and such, but he didn't want to accidentally endanger them, hero's or not he knew full well they weren't immune to fire, or even resistant.
He looked at his mum who was on the phone. He then looked down at his hands and made a small ball of fire. 'Hm...' holding the fire close to his body, he walked over to the dip he had made earlier and sat down. He looked at the fire and envisioned it getting taller but not wider. To his surprise the fire obeyed without much resistance. 'Whoa...' he whispered unsuccessfully, catching the attention of death arms and Kamui woods. The two hero's looked at the boy before sharing a glance. 'You got any idea what he's doing?' Kamui shook his head. 'Not really, but after that speech earlier about just discovering his powers, id recon he's experimenting.' Death arms hummed. 'makes sense'
It didn't take long for Hoshi to arrive, landing and turning human, glancing around at the heroes. They looked at the man and took a fighting stance. 'Who are you?' Backdraft asked, arms raised. 'My name is Hoshi, lovely to make your acquittance.' He said, bowing at a near perfect 90°. The heroes all shared a glance, and decided to act as though they let their guard down. 'What do you need here Hoshi?' 'Id like to talk with my nephew, he and I have near identical quirks, and I believe that I can help him.' Death arm raised an eyebrow. 'Prove it'
Hoshi sighed, before transforming. Mt lady let out a small gasp' , before glancing at Izuku behind her. 'Omg that's so cute, they really do look almost identical!' Inko let out a sigh, walking over to her son. 'What are you doing honey?' Izuku looked up. 'Well earlier in class Kaachan mentioned something that got me thinking. He described this-' he held up his hand slightly, showing his mother the ball of fire. 'Pyrokinesis. Sometimes those with a kinesis quirk can control the shape of the element they control, so I thought, "well what if I could do that?" And I can!' He proudly showed his mum as he made the fire in his palm distort and make the shape of a prism, then a rough pyramid with quite rounded points.
At this point Hoshi was allowed over, now looking human again. He let out a sigh and walked over. 'Heard your having trouble turning back?' Izuku nodded. 'Do you know how to meditate?' 'Not yet, I was going to look into it when I got home tonight...' He admitted, looking down. 'But then Kaachan was caught by a villain, and the heroes just looked on and did nothing!' He paused. 'I guess I didn't want to loose Kaachan when id just got him back...' The last part came out as barely a whisper. Hoshi nodded. 'Understandable, but what matters now is we get you back to human.' Izuku nodded, and shifted to a lotus position. Hoshi smiled and sat next to him. 'So you know that much, good. This is going to be a very rudimentary lesson on meditation, I suggest you look into it properly later on.' Izuku nodded. 'put our hands like this...'
A few minutes later, Izuku stood before the mildly bemused heroes, bowing and apologizing.
'Im so sorry for jumping in like that, i know quirk usage without a license is illegal, but i honestly didnt mean to use it. Im still getting used to it. Im so sorry.' Izuku blurted out, much to inkos amusement. Death arms chuckled. 'Dont worry about it kiddo, just dont do it again.' Izuku nodded. 'I can promise you ill train my quirk to make sure of that" he said, a determined expression on his face. the hero smiled. 'I have a feeling you will son, good luck with your plans' izukus eyes lit up, a grin on his face.the family left soon after, the heroes leaving to continue patrols. inko looked at her son, who seemed lost in thought. she then looked at hoshi, who was cordially walking witgh the family to help sell the story. hoshi glanced at inko and smiled. 'you have a determined boy. im sure he'll discover parts to his abilities that haven't been discovered for generations by us semis. I know he'll achieve something great.' inko smiled. 'im sure he will. he has trust in himself and those around him, and somehow always sees the good in people. I just hope that his selflessness isnt his undoing...' she said, muttering the last sentence.
Once the small family got home, izuku quickly ran to the patio, deciding he couldnt put off training his powers. Inko looked out the glass door, watching as izuku sat in the lotus position and transformed. She smiled, and turned to hoshi. ' i want to thank you for helping me and my son. I dont know what we would do without your help.' Inko smiled.
Hoshi chuckled. 'Oh its nothing ma'am, i love my job, and thats to help children like him. Its been a long while since i got a semi pyronite though.' Hoshi paused 'everything ok hoshi?' The man nodded. 'Im going to talk to my higher ups. I want to work with izuku personally. I want to help this boy become the hero we both know he can be.' Inko smiled before asking 'what are you saying hoshi?' The man chuckled. 'Im saying the apartment across the way is up for rent, im moving there so i can be closer and more of a help to izuku. Its clear hes ditermined to improve his control over his abilities, but i think hes a bit too eager.' Inkos eyes went wide. 'Wait what?' Hoshi smiled slightly, looking at the boy outside, watching as he held a ball of flame and altered its shape. 'Im going to talk to them tomorrow. For now mrs midorya, ill take my leave. I wish you and your son the best of luck.' Inko shook her head, quckly dispelling the momentary surprise and led the man to the door. Smiling she said 'thank you Hoshi, for everything your doing for my son' hoshi smiled before leaving, turning to wave at the greenette, before transforming and surfing off of a sheet of flame.
inko closed the door and locked it before turning back to the patio as she watched Izuku stand holding a small ball of flame, feeding it as it grew larger. once the flame was about the size of a tennis ball, he turned back human, deciding to try something. upon turning back, inko watched as izuku attempted to get rid of the flame unsuccessfully. she giggled as he huffed and turned back to rid of the flame.
'Izuku?'
'Yea?' He turned to face his mother. Inko smiled. 'dont do anything stupid like that again without proper training.' izukus eyes went wide. 'Y-yes mum, sorry mum'
